Vivaan's POV

Yes, I recall back in our school days, after Trisha left, Kunal and Vidhi were often seen together. They roamed around, had their lunches, and even studied together.

There were rumors that they were dating, but I sensed that Vidhi merely regarded him as a friend.

I experienced a feeling completely foreign to me.

I was consumed by a fiery anger. Why was she laughing with him? Why did she embrace him? And why isn't she ever that happy with me? Why?

But then I saw something which was the end of my patience. HIS HAND TOUCHED MY VIDHI'S HANDS.

*END OF POV*

Vivaan slammed the table, rising in a fury. "Vidhi, let's go; I'll take you to your office," he declared. Vidhi gave a nod of agreement, but at that moment, his phone rang. The caller on the other end insisted he return for the shoot.

Kunal offered a gentle smile and suggested, "I can take her. If you're preoccupied, please proceed."

Vivaan was conflicted; he understood the shoot was crucial, yet his heart couldn't bear the thought of Vidhi being alone with Kunal.

Finally, he chose to step away from the shoot for a bit. Grasping Vidhi's hand, he declared, "No, I'm free now; come with me."

Vidhi waved at Kunal while being whisked away by Vivaan out of the cafe.

Kunal realized Vivaan was feeling jealous, and the thought brought a smile to his face. Just then, a waiter approached him and said, "Sir, your bill."

Kunal chuckled and settled the bill.

Vivaan stepped out and released her hand. Vidhi began yelling at him, "What do you think you are? You dragged me out like a child. Don't you have any manners?"

Vivaan placed his hand on Vidhi's lips to silence her.

"Why are you screaming like a maniac? I'm not deaf," Vivaan exclaimed. As he stopped, a shiver ran through him. He slowly pulled back his hand and looked at Vidhi.

Before Vidhi could respond, Vivaan gently kissed the palm he had placed on her lips. Her eyes widened, and her mouth opened in shock.

Vivaan then placed his hand on his heart and closed his eyes. "How sweet! Hayee!" he sighed.

Vidhi started hitting his chest, "You are so disgusting. How the hell can you do that?"

Vivaan held both her hand and kissed her cheek, "Like this."

Vidhi's heart nearly stopped. Witnessing this facet of Vivaan for the first time, she touched her cheek where his lips had been and blinked three times in disbelief.

Vivaan guided her to the car, instructing her to sit. Numb, she complied, her mind a blank canvas. Vivaan was looking at Vidhi and controlling his laugh.

But gradually, he noticed Vidhi's eyes welling up with tears. His smile vanished, and he brought the car to a halt.

He tenderly laid his palm over hers and inquired, "Vidhi, did I go wrong in some way? I apologize. I didn't know you would dislike my kiss. I won't do it again. I'm sorry, truly sorry, Vidhi." Vidhi embraced him and began to weep.

"Vivaan, I'm not upset that you kissed me. But if you have kissed me..." Vidhi's voice trailed off as she grasped the weight of her unfinished sentence. Vivaan released her, understanding the unspoken words. He tenderly took her hand.

"Vidhi, you were my first and you will be my last. You reside here," he said, placing her hand over his heart. "Don't ever worry about such things. You reign over my heart, my mind, my everything. You are irreplaceable."

In that embrace, Vidhi felt a soft corner for Vivaan blossom into LOVE.

Will Vidhi understand Vivaan's love? Is this the beginning of a new love story?
