chapter 1

Iris is a young, beautiful and kind girl who's living with her uncle and aunty as she doesn't have parents.

Her father divorced her mother for another woman since then her father died for her and she didn't put any effort to know about his condition.

Her mother worked hard for her, sent her to a good school but soon her mother died in an accident.

She was a chef. A big conflagration occurred in her restaurant's kitchen which lead her to death.

Since then Iris is living with her uncle and aunt but she also knows that her aunt doesn't like her.

As Iris is about to leave for her new university and hostel, her uncle says his farewell, telling her to take care of herself.

I/Uncle: Bye Iris! Take care of yourself!

Iris smiles at her uncle, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness at the thought of starting this new phase of her life.

Iris: Thanks, Uncle. I will. I'll make sure to call and update you regularly.

I/Aunt: If there is any problem inform us.ok!(She fakes her smile)

Iris nods and smiles politely at her aunt's remark, but deep down she can sense the fake nature of her smile.

Iris: Of course, Aunt. I'll let you know if I have any trouble. But I'm sure I'll be fine.

As Iris sits in the car, looking out the window and sighing, she can't help but reflect on her uncle and aunt's behavior. She ponders how much they have to pretend to care for her when she knows deep down it's all a facade.

Iris: nevermind! I'll Start a new life from here and become the brightest start my family has ever seen.

She doesn't have any sibling or friends as she was a bookworm in school.

After sometime they stopped on highway because of traffic. She was listening to some music on headphones but suddenly she heard someone yelling too loudly.
Iris notices the boy's loud voice and looks out the window to see a heated argument between the boy and the middle-aged man. The boy is clearly frustrated and angry, while the middle-aged man seems to be trying to calm him down.

Iris turns down the volume of her music and can't help but be intrigued by the altercation happening outside.

???: Don't you have eyes!! How can you bump your vehicle into my car!
Man: I'm sorry! My eyesight is weak and I can't see Properly.
???: Not my problem! You have to pay me.

The boy's tone becomes more demanding as he responds to the man's explanation. He insists that the man has to compensate him for the damage caused to his car.

The man, now looking increasingly stressed, tries to reason with the boy. He apologizes again and offers to exchange insurance information to resolve the issue.

Iris: what a dumbass stupid he is! Doesn't even know how to talk to elders.

???: Do you have hearing problems too! I said pay me!
Man: I can't! I'm very poor.
???: I don't know!!!

She couldn't tolerate more of him so she got out of his car and confronted him.

Iris: Hey you! Don't you have any manner!

The boy, who was engaged in arguing with the middle-aged man, is surprised to hear a new voice and sees Iris approaching him. He turns his attention towards her and huffs in annoyance.

???: And who are you to tell me what manners are?
Iris: Can't you see he is a middle-aged poor man. You are talking to him like you own him.
???: So what if he's a middle-aged man? He hit my car and now he has to pay for the damage. I don't see why I need to be polite to him.
Iris: Stupid!(She said under her breath) How much?
