Being all tensed and disturbed by that moment she finally decided to sleep as she couldn't study in such a noise. She leans back , closes her eyes, and tries to relax. The events from earlier still linger in her mind, but eventually, she manages to drift off into a light sleep.

Meanwhile Amy decided to leave Taehyung's place and go back to her.

She kissed him on the cheeks and gave him a tight goodbye hug. Taehyung wrapped his arms around Amy, holding her tightly as he nuzzled his face into her hair. He closed his eyes, taking in her scent one last time before she left.

Taehyung: Bye!
Amy: you look like you can sleep right now. Go babe, sleep.
Taehyung: After you go!
Amy: alright, bye!

Taehyung collapsed onto his bed, exhaustion taking over his body. Within minutes, he was fast asleep, his mind blank and his body relaxed as he drifted off into a deep rest.

Next morning

Iris woke up early and after getting ready she stood in her kitchen, mixing and preparing ingredients for a simple breakfast. The early morning sunlight filtered through the windows, casting a warm glow on everything in the room.

Suddenly someone backhugged her. Ofc it was Taehyung

Iris froze as she felt strong arms wrapping around her from behind. She was startled . She gasped, her body tensing up for a moment before recognising the unfamiliar touch. A mixture of surprise and annoyance washed over her.

Taehyung nuzzled his face into the crook of her neck, inhaling her scent deeply. He wrapped his arms around her tighter, pulling her closer to him.

Taehyung: Good morning, babe!
Iris: Babe?

Taehyung hummed in response, his gaze fixed on the back of her head as he remained wrapped around her. He continued inhaling her scent, his grip on her tightening slightly.

Taehyung: Yeah, you made my favorite breakfast, babe...

Taehyung continued to hold her from behind, still not realizing it was Iris he was holding instead of Amy. He nuzzled further into her hair, taking in a sniff.

Taehyung: you smell different today but not like in a bad way, in a good way. It feels like I would be more drawn to you now. You smell good, babe...
Iris: Are you serious, Taehyung?
Taehyung: Of course I'm serious Amy!

he murmured into her neck, his breath warm against her skin. He nuzzled closer, showing no signs of letting go anytime soon.

Iris: Amy? I'm Iris!

Taehyung froze, realization hitting him like a truck. He pulled back from her, a mixture of embarrassment and surprise on his face. He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.

Taehyung: Iris, I-I didn't mean to... I was half-asleep and I thought you were Amy...
Iris: How can you even misunderstand someone else to be your girl!?!
Taehyung: I guess I just woke up in a daze and wasn't really thinking straight.
Iris: Yeah, right,Maybe you need glasses to see who you're hugging next time.
Taehyung: Very funny . Like you'd be any better at recognizing people first thing in the morning.
Iris: Oh, please. I can recognize annoying people from a mile away. It's a gift, really and also I don't go roam around hugging random people.
Taehyung: Well, excuse me for not recognizing your sorry ass in the morning. I was half-asleep and thought you were someone else.
Iris: Oh, sorry I'm not up to your standards at 7 AM in the morning. I'll be sure to dress up just for you next time, Mr. Perfectionist.
Taehyung: Oh please, I have much higher standards. And you're far from meeting them, sweetheart.
Iris: Atleast I didn't hug a random person thinking them to be mine.
Taehyung: I didn't hug a random person, I thought it was Amy.
Iris: Sure, you thought it was Amy, Because all girls feel the same, right? We're all just one big, indistinguishable blur to you.
Taehyung: That's not what I meant, and you know it, It was an honest mistake, but you're just looking for a reason to argue.
Iris: Oh, I'm the one looking for a reason to argue?You're the one who can't tell the difference between your own girlfriend and other people.
Taehyung: You're blowing this way out of proportion! It was a simple mistake! Why do you have to turn it into a big deal?
Iris: Now get lost, I have to enjoy my breakfast. Without you!
Taehyung: Yeah, sure. Enjoy your breakfast, Ms. High-and-Mighty. I have much better things to do anyway.

He stormed out of the kitchen, his mood souring even further from the bickering. He couldn't understand why she had to make such a big deal out of a simple mistake.

Iris watched as he left, feeling a mix of satisfaction and irritation. She couldn't believe how easily he got under her skin. She tried to shake off the encounter and focus on enjoying her breakfast.

Taehyung's pov

Taehyung mentally kicked himself for forgetting about Amy, calling himself a stupid dumbo for embracing that Iris person. He was frustrated with himself for being so thoughtless, especially after the beautiful and night he had shared with her.

Taehyung's mind was filled with self-deprecating thoughts, berating himself for forgetting about Amy.

Taehyung: I'm such an idiot,How could I forget that Amy left in the night itself? And on top of that, I even hugged that Iris woman. I have no idea what I was thinking.

End of Taehyung's pov

After some time , he took his morning bath and got ready for college.

In college

Iris was going towards her class but she saw jungkook in the way along with Isaella. She went to talk to them.

Iris: Hii guys!
Isabella: Hey girlyyy!!
Jungkook: how was your morning?

Suddenly Taehyung came there and stood beside him glaring intensely at Iris.

Iris: Not very good tbh! (Iris said side eyeing Taehyung)

Jungkook and Isabella notice Iris's gaze towards Taehyung and can sense some tension. Isaella glances at Taehyung and raises an eyebrow.
Jungkook looks amused by the situation.

Jungkook: What's the problem? Trouble in paradise?
Iris: Nothing! Just a bad morning to start my day.
Isabella: Uh huh, sounds like a 'bad morning' alright.
Jungkook: Care to share with us what happened this morning?
Iris:No, thankyou! I'm leaving now!
Taehyung: She probably thinks, she's a princess or something. Stupid.
Jungkook: Now what's with you.
Taehyung: Nothing. I'm going to Amy now.
Jungkook: alright!

Isabella leans in closer to Jungkook and whispers.

Isabella: Something definitely happened between those two.
Jungkook: Oh, for sure. I'll have to ask Taehyung about it later.

With that jungkook and Isabella continue with their day and went to their class.
