Mingue waited in the car for Iris, leaning against the passenger door and scrolling through something on his phone. He looked up as he heard footsteps approaching, a goofy grin spreading across his face when he saw Iris approaching.
Mingue: Hey there, pretty lady! Ready to have some fun?
Iris: Yeah, yeah, I'm ready. Let's just hope this day is more fun than dealing with a certain possessive pain in my ass.
Mingue: Possessive pain in your ass? You talking about a boyfriend or something?
Iris: No, definitely not a boyfriend. Just a certain someone who's ridiculously possessive and thinks he can tell me what to do all the damn time.(rolling her eyes as she buckled her seatbelt)
Mingue: Whatever, ready to go?Mingue smirked as he started the car, glancing at her with a teasing glint in his eye.
Mingue: Sounds like someone's got a secret admirer with boundary issues. Mind telling me who this possessive pain in the ass is?
Iris: It's just some overly possessive and annoying guy. He thinks he can call me 'princess' and tell me what to do all the time. It's insufferable.
Mingue: Really? Do I need to be worried? Should I be preparing to fight for your honor or something?
Iris: Oh, please. You don't have to fight for my honor or anything. I can handle myself just fine. and you , just focus on driving mr.
Mingue: Alright, alright, fair enough. I'll play the role of the innocent chauffeur, then. But if this possessive pain ever becomes a problem, just say the word and I'll unleash my secret kung-fu powers on him.
Iris: Oh, please. As if your kung-fu skills would scare anyone. But I appreciate the offer, I guess.
Mingue: Hey, my kung-fu skills are legendary! I'll have you know I've won several imaginary battles against imaginary foes.
Iris: Whatever, tell me where you're taking me today.
Mingue: Alright, boss. Today, we're going to a cute little cafe by the river. It's got great coffee, pastries, and a nice view.
Iris: Sounds perfect. I could use some caffeine and sweetness in my life right now. And a nice view sounds pretty great too.
Mingue: can I ask you something?
Iris: Sure, go ahead. What's on your mind?
Mingue: Why you......why you let Taehyung kiss you in the party?Iris blinked, caught off guard by the sudden change in topic. She hadn't expected Mingue to bring up that moment.
Iris: Uh... well...it just sort of happened, you know? I wasn't expecting it or anything. He just came up to me and... did it.
Mingue: But you didn't like it, right? I mean, Taehyung's... well, he's kind of a jerk most of the time. You shouldn't let him treat you like that.
Iris: I... I don't know. I mean, it was unexpected and inappropriate, yes, but...She trailed off, her thoughts muddled as she remembered the unexpected heat that had coursed through her at Taehyung's touch.Mingue noticed her hesitation and the conflict in her eyes.
Mingue: But what? Come on, you can be honest with me. You clearly don't like him, right? He's always bossing you around and making you feel uncomfortable.
Iris: It's... complicated, Mingue. I don't know how to explain it and just leave it but that's for sure that I hate him.
Mingue: You know you don't have to put up with his crap, right? You don't have to let him get away with bossing you around and kissing you without your consent just because he's handsome and popular. You don't deserve him. he's a jerk.
Iris: can we just stop talking about him and ruin our......... day.Mingue sighed, his expression softening as he heard the plea in her voice. He knew she just wanted to forget about Taehyung and the confusing mix of emotions he brought up for her.
Mingue: Okay, alright. We'll stop talking about him. No more mention of Mr. Jerkface. This day is about us having fun, right?
Iris: Yeah, exactly. Fun, pastries, and no mention of you-know-who. Sounds perfect to me.
