Iris perched on her seat, a casual air about her as she talked with Jackson. They conversed about random topics, the usual college chatter. Iris couldn't help but steal glances at the entrance, hoping to see Mingue walk in.

Jackson, oblivious to her distractions, continued chatting away about class gossip and upcoming events. He was blissfully unaware of the fact that Iris was only half listening, her mind fixated on a certain someone who hadn't shown up yet.

Mingue entered the class and stood infront of her seat.

Mingue: I came to meet you but looks like you're busy! Mhmm?

Iris looked up, immediately noticing Mingue standing in front of her. Her heart skipped a beat, and she felt a surge of conflicting emotions. She tried to maintain a cool facade, but the sight of him so close made it difficult.

Iris: Oh, hey. Yeah, just chatting with Jackson. What's up?
Mingue: Oh, nothing much. Just wanted to check in on you. See how you're doing.
Iris: I'm fine, Just the usual college stuff, you know.

Mingue's smile widened, but there was no warmth in it. He leaned in a bit closer, invading her personal space. He kept his voice low so only she could hear.

Mingue: Just the usual college stuff, huh?Seems like you're pretty close with Jackson lately.
Iris: We'll talk later mingue. Probably after the class ends.
Mingue:Fine. We'll talk later then.

He shot a glare at Jackson before turning on his heel and walking away, his expression visibly annoyed.Iris watched him go, a mixture of relief and curiosity swirling within her. She knew he was upset about something, but she couldn't tell if it was Jackson or something else.

As class started, she tried to focus on the lecture, but her mind kept wandering back to Mingue's brief appearance and his grumpy demeanor.

Meanwhile Taehyung sat on a bench in the school playground, trying to study. But his attempts at concentration were thwarted by Amy's constant chatter and attempts to grab his attention.

Amy leaned closer to Taehyung, resting her chin on his shoulder and batting her eyelashes at him.

Amy: Taehyung, pay attention to me, Studying is so boring. Let's do something fun instead.
Taehyung: I don't have time for fun or games right now. I need to study. You know that.
Amy: But Taehyung, You never have time for me. I'm your girlfriend. Shouldn't I come first?
Taehyung: Amy,you know I love you right.
Amy: Of course I know that.
Taehyung: But I also need time to study. btw did you meet mingue yesterday
Amy: Yeah, I saw him. Why do you ask?
Taehyung: Just wondering. I saw him talking to Iris yesterday.
Amy: He was talking to Iris? Why the hell was he talking to her?
Taehyung: Beats me. Maybe they were just chatting. It's not a big deal. why do you care?
Amy: I don't care I was just..... Curious. Yeah, just curious. I mean, why would I care who Mingue talks to anyway, right?
Taehyung: Right! Just curious. You definitely don't care at all. good for you

Amy forced a smile, trying to hide her lingering jealousy. She hated the fact that Mingue had talked to Iris, and the thought of them hanging out together made her blood boil.

Amy: Exactly! I don't care one bit. Let Mingue do whatever he wants. It doesn't matter to me at all.
Taehyung: Btw what are you wearing tonight in the party?
Amy: Oh, I've got this amazing red dress. It's going to look killer, trust me.

Taehyung smiled faintly, his eyes wandering back to his study materials. He wasn't as excited about the party as Amy was, but he knew he would have to attend since she was so into it.

Taehyung: Sounds good! I'm sure you'll look beautiful.

Amy's smile widened, feeling validated by his compliment. She scooted closer to him on the bench, her body pressing against his.

Amy: You'll look handsome in whatever you wear. We're going to have so much fun tonight, just the two of us.
Taehyung: Yeah, it should be a good night. Just try not to get too drunk, okay?
Amy: I won't get too drunk. I can handle my alcohol just fine, thank you very much.
Taehyung: Sure, sure, you say that every time. Let's see if you can actually keep your word this time.

In cafeteria

Iris entered the cafeteria, her eyes scanning the room for Mingue. When she spotted him sitting alone at a table, she made her way over to him.

Iris: Hey! Mind if I join you?
Mingue: Sure,Have a seat.
Iris: Are you mad at me?
Mingue: What makes you say that?
Iris: You've been acting strangely in class earlier. So why are you being all broody and quiet now?
Mingue: I'm fine. Just have a lot on my mind, that's all.
Iris: You know you can talk to me if something's bothering you, right? You don't have to act all distant and closed off.
Mingue: You know it I don't like when you ignore me. You know it very well.
Iris: That doesn't mean you have to act like a jerk. I don't deserve the silent treatment and your coldness.
Mingue: You were all cozy with Jackson during class. What was that all about, huh?
Iris: Cozy with Jackson? Are you serious? We were just having a conversation. It wasn't like that at all. Are you seriously jealous because I was talking to another guy?
Mingue: Maybe I am! You were all smiles and laughs with him. You two looked pretty cozy to me.
Iris: You're being ridiculous, you know that? I was just being friendly. It's not like I was flirting with him or anything.
Mingue: Yeah, sure. Just being friendly. You two looked awfully chummy. And you were practically glowing, laughing at his jokes and all.
Iris: Mingue, he's just my friend like you. And why do you care if I'm talking to other boys it's not like you're my boyfriend or something. Right?
Mingue: I don't care. It just... it doesn't sit right with me, seeing you laughing and chatting with another guy like you're close friends or something.
Iris: You sound like a jealous boyfriend, Which you're not, by the way. So stop acting like one.
Mingue: Yeah, I know I'm not your boyfriend. You don't have to keep reminding me.
Iris: Come on, Mingue. Stop being mad at me and tell what are you going to wear tonight.
Mingue: You want to know what I'm going to wear tonight?
Iris: Yes!
Mingue: I don't know, probably just something casual. Why, are you interested in what I'll be wearing?
Iris: Interested? More like curious, I just want to see what you'll wear.
Mingue: Maybe there is someone I might want to impress. But I'm not sure if she'd notice me even if I dressed up for her.
Iris: Oh, please, I'm sure any girl would notice you, whether you're dressed up or not.
Mingue: You think so, huh? Flattery will get you everywhere. you know, Am I supposed to believe, you don't notice me when I'm around?
Iris: Of course I notice you, It's hard not to when you're always brooding silently in a corner.
Mingue: Oh, so you notice me when I'm brooding, huh? Does that mean you like it when I brood?
Iris: No, I don't like it when you brood. It's annoying and... and distracting.
Mingue: Distracting, huh? In what way am I distracting, exactly?
Iris: In... in a bad way. Like an annoyingly distracting way.
Mingue: An annoyingly distracting way, huh? Sounds like I'm getting under your skin. Just admit it—you can't resist my brooding.
Iris: Alright, stop it now. I'm going back to class.
Mingue: Running away so soon? And here I thought you were enjoying our little chat.
Iris: Shut up. I have a class to get to. Besides, I can't stay here listening to your insufferable teasing all day.
Mingue: Aww, don't be like that. I was just having fun. And who says you can't listen to my 'insufferable teasing' all day? I think you enjoy it more than you're willing to admit.
Iris: Bye!!!
Mingue: See you later, sweetheart!

Iris rolled her eyes at his nickname for her, but she couldn't deny the butterflies in her stomach. She couldn't explain why he had such a strong effect on her, and it frustrated her to no end. As she hurried back to class, she couldn't help but wonder if he was as affected by her as she was by him.

Mingue: I don't know when she'll finally give in. I can easily leave her but there's just something in her that I'm so drawn to her. Well, Mingue let's go , I  also need to attend classes.

He went to his class while whistling a tune to himself.
