Taehyung had been observing the argument from a distance, enjoying the show. But when he saw Iris pushed and fall to the ground, his protective instincts kicked in.
Taehyung: What the hell, Amy? stop it!(he shouted, quickly striding towards them)
Amy: What? She deserved it. She was trying to steal you from me.
Taehyung: And who the hell told you that? Iris didn't do anything. You're just being jealous and paranoid. He crouched down beside Iris, concern filling his eyes. He helped her sit up, gently checking if she was okay.
Taehyung: Are you hurt? Are you alright?(he asked, his voice soft and laced with genuine care)
Iris shook her head, wincing a bit from the pain. She looked up at him, gratitude in her eyes.
Iris: I'm fine, I think. Just a bit bruised.
Taehyung: Don't dare to get close to her from now on. You're a girl Amy, so I'm sparing you.He shot Amy a sharp glare, his anger towards her rising. He turned his attention back to Iris and helped her up, gently guiding her to her feet.
Amy: Whatever! You're just blinded by her.
Taehyung: shut up! Just shut up!He easily lifted Iris in his arms, carrying her bridal style. He felt a protective instinct coursing through him as he held her close. He walked briskly towards the infirmary, his footsteps purposeful.
Iris was taken aback by his sudden action, her head resting against his chest. She could hear his heartbeat, steady and strong. She felt a mixture of surprise and a strange sense of comfort being held in his arms.
Iris: Leave it Taehyung, I'm alright
Taehyung: You're not alright, princess. You fell hard on the ground.(Taehyung huffed, not willing to listen)He tightened his grip on her, his resolve firm. She tried to protest, but it was no use. He was determined to have her checked out by the nurse, and nothing she said could change his mind. They reached the infirmary, and he gently set her down on the bed.
He looked around, realizing they were alone in the infirmary. He retrieved a small box of band aids and some antiseptic wipes from the cabinet. Carefully, he knelt down in front of her and began tending to her scrapes and bruises. He shook his head, his touch gentle as he applied the ointment to her scrapes.
Taehyung: You should have been careful princess . You shouldn't have let yourself get pushed like that.
Iris winced slightly as he touched a particularly tender spot, but she didn't pull away. She studied his face, noticing the worried look in his eyes.
Iris: It's not like I let myself get pushed. Amy just caught me off guard.
Taehyung's jaw clenched as he continued tending to her wounds. He was silent for a moment before speaking again, his voice sharp and protective.
Taehyung: Well, Amy won't be doing that again. I'll make sure of it.
Iris felt a flutter of warmth in her chest at his words. She couldn't deny he seemed genuinely concerned for her wellbeing. She tried to brush it off, though, not wanting to give in to those feelings.
Iris: You don't have to go around threatening people for me. I can handle myself, you know.
Taehyung paused his movements, a hint of a smirk on his lips. He looked up at her, his gaze intense.
Taehyung: really? Because it looked to me like you needed rescuing back there, Princess.
iris: I didn't necessarily need rescuing. I could have handled Amy on my own.
