Raghav stood in his cabin, heart racing, as he finally blurted out his feelings to Kalpana. "I love you, Kalpana," he confessed, his voice trembling slightly.
Kalpana stood there, stunned into silence.
Her face was unreadable, and Raghav felt a sudden, icy fear gripping his heart.
The thought of her rejecting him was unbearable. "Say something, dammit," he urged, his voice edged with desperation.
She looked up at him, meeting his gaze.
In his eyes, she saw pain, vulnerability, and a depth of love she hadn't expected from such a stern man. "I... I don't know what to say, sir," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.
Raghav, unable to stand the tension, grabbed her hand. "Come with me," he commanded, pulling her out of his cabin.
The entire office watched in stunned silence as he dragged her through the building.
Samar stepped forward, concern etched on his face. "What the hell are you doing, Raghav? Leave her!"
Raghav shot him a furious look. "Stay the fuck out of this, Sammy. I need to talk to her." With that, he continued to drag Kalpana outside, forcing her into his car.
He drove recklessly, his mind a whirl of emotions, while Kalpana sat beside him, frightened and bewildered.
After what felt like an eternity, they arrived at a tall, modern building. "Where are we?" she asked meekly.
"This is my penthouse," he replied, dragging her out of the car and into the building.
They rode the elevator in silence, the tension thick between them.
Once they reached his penthouse, he ushered her inside and closed the door firmly behind them.
"Why... why did you close the door?" she stammered, fear evident in her voice.
"Because I don't want any disturbances while we talk," he said softly, leading her to the sofa.
He knelt in front of her, his gaze tender and his voice gentle. "I love you, Kalpana."
She felt goosebumps rise on her skin at his confession.
No one had ever said those words to her before, and despite her confusion and fear, her heart fluttered.
Butterflies danced in her stomach as she looked at his handsome face.
She could see the sincerity and honesty in his eyes and hear it in his voice.

Samar's office was in disarray, the remnants of his fury evident in the shattered glass on the table.
Blood trickled from his hand, but he paid it no mind, too consumed with worry for both Raghav and Kalpana.
His thoughts were interrupted by a soft touch on his wounded hand.
He looked up to see Pakhi, her eyes glistening with tears of concern.
"You idiot, haath se khoon nikal raha aur aap has rahe hai," she scolded him, glaring fiercely.
Samar chuckled despite the situation, finding her concern endearing.
This only made her more upset. "Samar Raizada, you better give me an explanation for what the hell this is and why you're so angry!" she demanded.
