The next day, Sambhav and Brijraj traveled to Kolhapur to meet Janak.

During the journey, Brijraj told Sambhav about Janak and Bhairav.

Initially, Sambhav was against the idea. "Chote Papa, it's like we're saving Shruti from one problem only to put her into another."

Brijraj nodded, understanding his son's concerns.

When they arrived, Janak greeted them warmly and reassured them. "Beta, I understand your hesitation, but trust me, Bhairav will take good care of Shruti. He can also protect her from Kunal and your family."

Sambhav and Brijraj thought about Janak's words.

Brijraj then asked, "Janak, even if we agree, will Bhairav?"

Janak smiled confidently. "Don't worry about that. I'll talk to him."

Sambhav sighed and finally said, "Alright, Uncle. We are ready for this alliance, but the wedding must take place tomorrow."

Janak nodded, and Brijraj hugged him. "Thank you, Janak. I'll never forget this favor."

Janak patted his back, smiling. "वेडा आहेस का?  " ("Are you crazy?") Dost hoon tera, ehsaan kahan se beech mein aaya?" They shared a warm smile before leaving.

Upon reaching Pune, they saw wedding preparations in full swing.

Sambhav approached his mother and reassured her. "Maa, don't worry. Nothing bad will happen to Shruti."

She looked at him with hope. "Pakka na?"

He nodded firmly.

Kalindi glanced at Brijraj, who also reassured her.

She felt a wave of relief wash over her.

Later, Brijraj went to Shruti's room and closed the door.

Shruti looked at him, puzzled. "Chote Papa?"

He sat down beside her. "Bacche, I need to talk to you."

She nodded, her eyes wide with concern.

"I know you've never found happiness in this house, so we've made a decision for you. You should get married," Brijraj said gently.

Shruti's breath hitched, tears welling up in her eyes.

She felt as if her last hope was slipping away.

Brijraj wiped her tears. "But not to Kunal," he clarified.

She looked at him, confused. "Then to whom?"

"Bhairav," he replied. "He's Janak's nephew. They live in Kolhapur. Bhairav is a friend and PA to our CM, Garv Shinde, but he mostly handles everything in Kolhapur. Garv has another PA for the rest of the work."

Shruti listened, still processing the information. "But, Chote Papa, I don't even know who he is."

Brijraj nodded. "I know, bacche. But I met him. I've seen him. He's a good man, unlike me and your father. He respects women and has a kind heart."

Shruti could see the guilt in Brijraj's eyes, recognizing his genuine desire to mend things.

Unlike her father, who showed no remorse for almost ruining her life, Brijraj was trying to make amends.

She held his hand. "I trust you, Chote Papa. I'm ready to marry Bhairav."

He smiled, caressing her head lovingly. "Everything will be alright tomorrow."
