Disha had been thriving in her new role as the HR Head for a month now, and everything was going smoothly.
Her family was overjoyed at her promotion, proud of how far she had come.
Each day at work brought new challenges, but Disha faced them head-on with confidence, her team respecting her leadership and decision-making.
On the other hand, Manish's television show was also doing exceptionally well.
The ratings were strong, and the network was pleased.
Buoyed by the success, Manish had begun to consider venturing into production for a new show.
He had a concept brewing in his mind and figured it was time to test the waters as a producer.
In the meantime, Drishya, found out about what had happened to Disha a month ago—the harassment she faced and how Manish stepped in to help.
She was beyond grateful to him for protecting her sister and made sure to express her heartfelt thanks when they met.
Manish waved it off, saying it was nothing, but deep down, he was glad he could be there for Disha.
One month later, Manish had plans to meet an old friend, none other than Nityam Arora, the influential CEO of the Arora Group of Companies, who had played a key role in Disha's recent office developments.
They had known each other since school, where Nityam always had Manish's back, often rescuing him from bullies.
Their bond had only strengthened over the years, despite their busy lives.
They agreed to meet at a restaurant near Manish's TV set. Manish entered the restaurant and quickly spotted Nityam sitting in a corner booth, looking at his phone.
Manish approached him and sat down across from him.
"Abhi tak kuch order nahi kiya?" Manish teased, looking at the empty table.
Nityam glanced up and rolled his eyes. "Saale, kabhi toh time pe aa jaaya kar."
Manish grinned. "Agar main time pe aa gaya, toh tujhe mera wait karte hue dekh paaunga kya?"
Nityam chuckled, shaking his head as they signaled for the waiter and ordered their food.
As they waited, Manish's expression turned a little more serious.
"Thank you, buddy, for everything," Manish said, referring to Nityam's swift actions in firing Raman and Mr. Mehta.
Nityam shrugged. "Vo sab toh theek hai, lekin ek baat bata—tera Disha se connection kya hai?"
Manish sighed, knowing this question was inevitable.
He had told Nityam everything about Disha's ordeal a month ago, and as it turned out, she worked at the company where Nityam was the CEO.
Upon hearing the story, Nityam had immediately flown down to Mumbai, fired both Raman and Mr. Mehta, and made sure Disha was safe.
Manish leaned back, running a hand through his hair. "Bas yun samajh le ki dil taar ke ched diye hai," he said, a wry smile tugging at his lips.
Nityam smirked, raising an eyebrow. "Well, your choice is good."
Just as they were sharing a moment of banter, a loud thud interrupted their conversation.
Both men turned around to see Disha standing there, her eyes blazing with anger as she stared at Manish.
His heart sank, realizing she must have overheard their conversation.
