Samaksh entered the living room with a subtle smile, his family already gathered around for dinner.
His father looked up and raised an eyebrow. "So? How did it go?"
Samaksh, still savoring the moment, casually replied, "I got the contract."
His mother immediately clapped her hands in delight, her face lighting up with pride. "I knew it! My son always wins!" she beamed, pulling him into a hug.
Rajesh smiled approvingly. "Well done, son. I knew you had it in you."
Samaksh nodded and continued, "But there's more. Another company also got the contract along with us."
Rajesh tilted his head curiously. "Oh? Which company?"
Taking a breath, Samaksh said, "Paradise Group's Singh Construction."
Rajesh's expression shifted from curiosity to satisfaction. "Singh Constructions, you say?" He chuckled, clearly pleased. "That's wonderful news. The Singh family has a stellar reputation."
Samaksh nodded, though he didn't elaborate.
He couldn't help but agree.
Harshvardhan Pratap Singh's reputation had always been solid, and after meeting Yuvika today, he realized that the apple didn't fall far from the tree.
Dinner was filled with chatter and celebration, but Samaksh remained somewhat quiet, still replaying the events of the day in his mind.
After everyone finished, he excused himself and went to his room.
As he lay on his bed, staring at the ceiling, his thoughts drifted back to Yuvika.
The way she carried herself in that conference room, commanding attention and respect, was impressive.
She was unlike any woman he had ever met.
Most of the women who crossed his path were... well, different.
They often threw themselves at him, desperate for attention or validation, and they never quite handled situations the way Yuvika did today.
She didn't complain about the smallest things or act overly clingy.
Instead, she was confident, poised, and focused on her work.
He couldn't help but smile at the memory of her. "Beauty with brains," he mused to himself.
She wasn't just intelligent—she was sharp, with ideas that reflected vision and determination.
The way she spoke during her presentation, her voice filled with authority and passion, had left him speechless.
"Aapke saath kaam karne mein maza aayega, Yuvika ji," he whispered with a soft chuckle, picturing her determined face again.
With that thought, a warm sense of anticipation washed over him.
Samaksh closed his eyes, a small smile lingering on his lips as he drifted into a peaceful slumber, already looking forward to the next time they would meet.

The project had officially begun, and both Singh Constructions and Jaiswal Corporation were gearing up to collaborate on what would be a massive undertaking.
The government and the association had allotted them two years to complete the state-of-the-art school for underprivileged children, and today marked the first of many meetings between Yuvika and Samaksh.
