Yuvaan sat in his room, lost in thought, surrounded by Mokshita.
Their bond had grown stronger with each passing day, and though they'd been on a few dates, he still hadn't followed through on his promise to formally ask for her parents' permission.
His mind was a whirlwind of emotions, torn between happiness and uncertainty.
Just then, he noticed his entire family standing at the doorway.
His mother, Amrita, showed him the photos break the silence, his eyes falling on the photos.
"Yeh sab kya hai, Yuvaan?" she asked, her tone curious but tinged with concern.
Yuvaan's heart sank as he looked down at the pictures, realizing that they weren't just there by coincidence. "Maa... yeh photos?"
Before he could say anything more, his father, Harshvardhan, stepped forward, holding an envelope in his hand. "Someone sent this to us, with a note that if you don't stop seeing this girl, these photos will be sent to the media."
Yuvaan's face paled as his brother Yash turned to him. "Yuv, are you serious about her?"
Yuvaan met his brother's eyes and, with a determined nod, said, "Yes, Bhai. I am."
Amrita, her expression softening, asked, "Is she the one, Yuvaan? Is this the reason you've been rejecting all the other proposals?"
Yuvaan nodded again, his head hanging low this time, unsure of how his family would react.
Harshvardhan, noticing his son's hesitation, spoke firmly. "Yuvaan Pratap Singh, hold your head high."
Yuvaan quickly looked up at his father, surprised by his tone.
"Do you like her?" Harshvardhan asked, his gaze steady.
Yuvaan, caught off guard by the question, shook his head. "No, Dad... I don't like her."
A wave of confusion washed over the family, but before anyone could react, Yuvaan continued, his voice firmer. "I love her."
The tension in the room dissolved as a collective sigh of relief swept through the family.
Harshvardhan smiled and picked up one of the photos where Mokshita was holding an ice cream, her face lit up with joy. "Then why are you looking down? Pyaar karna galat nahi hota, beta. Aur yeh bacchi toh waise bhi bohot cute hai."
Everyone chuckled at Harshvardhan's words, including Yuvaan, who felt a wave of warmth spread through him.
His sister Yuvika added, "Dad's right. She's definitely cute."
Vyom, his younger brother, chimed in, "And beautiful too."
Ishani, looked at Yuvaan with a gentle smile. "Yuvaan, why are you so nervous?"
Yuvaan took a deep breath. "Bhabhi, to be honest, I was worried you all wouldn't like her. She's from a middle-class family, and she's younger than me. I mean... she's not perfect like maa, you or Yuvika."
Amrita sighed lovingly and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Yuvaan, beta, tum kuch zyada nahi soch rahe? Kisne kaha ki hum perfect hain? Mere bhi flaws hain, lekin tumhare papa mujhe waise hi pyar karte hain, flaws ke saath."
Yuvaan nodded, comforted by her words.
Ishani then spoke, her tone thoughtful. "Yuvaan, I'm not perfect either. You know, before meeting Yash, I'd decided I'd never marry because of my past experiences. But your brother changed everything. He loved me despite my flaws."
