Garima paced back and forth in their bedroom, her mind racing with thoughts and questions.
She had enough of Shantanu's avoidance, and she was determined to confront him today.
The past two days had been unbearable, and she needed answers.
The door creaked open, and she immediately looked up to see Shantanu entering the room.
He met her gaze briefly before looking away, clearly intending to pass by without a word.
"Dare you, Mr. Rajyavadkar," she called out, her voice firm and unwavering. "Agar aaj bhi mujhe avoid kiya, I swear I'll divorce you."
Shantanu froze in his tracks, shocked by her words.
He turned to face her, his eyes wide. "Wait for a few minutes. I'll be back," he said, his voice low before he hurried into the bathroom, leaving Garima standing there, fuming.
Ten minutes later, Shantanu emerged, his hair slightly damp from the shower.
He stood in front of her, his expression unreadable, but Garima could see the tension in his eyes.
"Why are you avoiding me?" she asked, her voice softer now but still laced with frustration.
"I'm not," he replied, his tone lacking conviction.
"Accha? Toh do din se aap subah jaldi kyun nikal jaate hai?" She crossed her arms, waiting for an answer.
He remained silent, his eyes dropping to the floor, unable to meet her gaze.
Garima sighed, her heart sinking. "Fine, don't answer. Lekin yeh toh bataiye ki ab hamare beech mein kya hai?"
He frowned, confused by her question. "Matlab?"
"Aap mujhe apni patni nahi maante, mujhse pyaar nahi karte, then why the hell did you beat Nitin mercilessly? Did you pity me?"
Her voice trembled, a mix of anger and hurt swirling within her.
His jaw clenched, and in a swift motion, he grabbed her arms tightly, causing her to wince in pain. "Let me clear some points to you, Mrs. Rajyavadkar," he said, his voice low and dangerous. "First, I will not divorce you. Second, you are my wife—get this thing straight in your head. Third, if I get the chance, I will kill that fucker Nitin because he dared to hurt you, and no one, I repeat, no one in the world has the power to hurt you as long as I am beside you. Got that?"
Garima shivered at the intensity of his words, but she managed a nod, her heart pounding in her chest.
"And last," Shantanu continued, his voice dropping to a deep, husky whisper that sent a shiver down her spine. "Jaan na chahti ho ki maine vo sab kyun kiya?"
She nodded again, her courage wavering under his intense gaze.
"Because you stole my heart," he confessed, his eyes locking onto hers.
Garima's confusion was evident at first, but as his words sank in, her eyes widened in shock.
"Yeah, exactly like this," he said, a small smile tugging at his lips as he saw her reaction. "Apni badi badi sundar aankhein dikha ke mere dil pe kabza kar liya."
She opened her mouth to say something, but instead, her lips formed a pout, and Shantanu's eyes darkened with desire. "Just like this," he murmured, his voice rough with emotion. "The way your lips are formed in a pout, you make me lose my control because whenever I see your lips, I just fucking want to kiss the hell out of you."
