A day has passed since Sangjae shouted at Jimin and the shorter has been deadly silent since then. Sangjae couldn't help but feel irritated by Jimin's ignoring and Jungkook was at the peak of his worrying for Jimin.
He doesn't know what happened overnight that made him this silent. His eyes had no shine as if he was just a living zombie, but a good zombie that won't bite. He would serve the food but without any smile or shine in his eyes like he wouldn't care of they ate or not.
It was all making Jungkook worry. Thinking that Sangjae might have done something to Jimin to stay silent like he was a mute.
In Jimin and Sangjae's room, the older was getting ready for office while Jimin was neating up the bed. Sangjae stared at Jimin's figure through the mirror as he recalled him shouting at his husband for nothing.
"Jimin, give me the tie." He pointed at the black white striped tie that was seated on the table just behind Jimin. The shorter only grabbed it and walked closer to his husband to hand over the tie.
"Tie it around my neck." Sangjae ordered.
Jimin did nothing but sigh and began to tie the tie around his husband's neck. He only made sure to stay his eyes at the tie and put all of his focus there but Sangjae's breath was tickling his forehead.
"Jimin." The shorter couldn't help but halt his actions, hearing Sangjae's tone filled with care and gentleness. He gradually looked up at Sangjae to see the taller giving him a small smile.
"I'm sorry about yesterday, I was too stressed and.. I shouted at you. Forgive me, please." Jimin wasn't believing his ears. Was he dreaming?
Why is Sangjae behaving so good with him? But he thought, instead of being suspicious, he should enjoy the moment and be grateful that his husband atleast apologized to him.
"It's okay." Jimin remained unbothered, resuming his actions
"Hey, are you still mad at me?" The older slid his finger under Jimin's chin and forced him to face him. "I deeply apologize, okay? Please forgive me."
Jimin dared to look up but when he did, his eyes widened when his husband pressed his lips against his. Sangjae's lips were soft and sweet but he didn't know how to feel. After all these months of mental torture, why is his husband kissing him as if nothing happened?
He fluttered his eyes closed, just wanting to enjoy some warmth. Sangjae's lips pressed against Jimin's like glue, it was short and sweet. After a few seconds leter Sangjae pulled away and caressed Jimin's cheeks with his thumb.
"I'm really sorry, please forgive me?" Sangjae's words were like honey on pancake and he sure knew how to get things his way.
Jimin only sighed. "Okay, i forgive you but please don't shout at me next time. I was just worried for you coming home late and not eating healthy food." With that the shorter was done with tie and took a step back.
"Okay I promise." Sangjae smiled catching Jimin off-guard since he never saw his husband smile like that infront of him.
"Also, there's a party at our company today. Our family have to attend it in the evening so be ready by the time okay? I told Jungkook to take you with him and I'll meet you there, okay?" Sangjae informed.
"Okay, I'll be ready." Jimin smiled. Sangjae only nodded at the agreement.
Soon they were having breakfast at the dinning table and Jungkook's jaw dropped when Sangjae told Jimin to have breakfast with them. He was basically third wheeling looking at Jimin and Sangjae being a little lovey-dovey.
He was clearly caught off guard seeing Jimin this happy just after a day of seeing him dead walking like a depressed zombie. His heart nearly broke apart when he saw Sangjae and Jimin hugging as Sangjae went off to work.
It's not like he's jealous seeing Jimin happy, but he just can't believe that Sangjae changed overnight and started behaving like a good husband.
"There must be something suspicious. It just can't be true, Sangjae wouldn't change and be a gentleman husband with Jimin out of the blue." Jungkook clenched his fist as he drove the car, his eyes throwing pure frustration and anger. "I have to find out whatever it is."
