An hour later, Y/N stirred from her uneasy slumber, a sharp pain in her side jolting her awake. The discomfort was relentless, making it impossible for her to find solace in sleep. She lay still for a moment, hoping the pain would subside, but it only intensified. Resigned, she decided to seek out Shen.

Rising slowly, she wrapped her robe around herself and made her way to Shen's quarters. Each step was a struggle, her side throbbing with every movement. Reaching Shen's door, she knocked loudly, her patience worn thin by the persistent pain.

Inside, Shen was roused from his own rest. Irritated by the abrupt awakening, he rubbed his eyes and shouted, "Don't bang my door so loudly!" He stood up, stretching slightly before opening the door. "Oh, Y/N, it's you... what do you need? Are you well?"

His irritation softened when he saw her standing there, clearly in distress. He placed his feathers lightly on her face, gliding them gently across her cheek. "You're burning up," he noted, concern lacing his voice. "Perhaps you have a fever."

Y/N shifted uncomfortably, the pain making her wince. "Can I come in?" she asked quietly, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Of course," Shen replied, stepping aside to let her enter.

Once inside, Y/N hesitated, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment. She gathered her courage and spoke softly, "I... I can't rest in my own quarters. Can I... can I rest here with you?"

Shen blinked, taken aback by her request. "What did you say?" he asked, not sure if he had heard her correctly.

She blushed deeper, averting her eyes. "I asked if I could rest here with you," she repeated, this time louder and more assertive.

Shen's eyes widened slightly in surprise, but he quickly composed himself. He could see how unwell she was and knew she needed care. He sighed and shrugged lightly. "Alright, Y/N, you can stay. But only because you're unwell."

Relieved, Y/N nodded gratefully. Shen guided her to his chaise lounge and helped her settle down. "Thank you, Shen" she whispered, her eyes already growing heavy with exhaustion.

"Just rest now, Y/N" Shen instructed, his tone gentler than before. "I'll be here beside you, if you need anything."

As Y/N lay down, Shen covered her with a blanket and sat nearby, watching over her. Despite his stern exterior, his concern for her well-being was evident. Y/N felt a sense of comfort in his presence, and though the pain was still there, she began to relax, trusting that Shen would take care of her.

Shen observed her, noting the tension slowly leaving her body as she drifted off to sleep. He stayed by her side, ensuring she was comfortable, and silently vowed to help her recover. Despite the lessons he needed to teach her, he understood that sometimes, compassion was the most important lesson of all.

The tranquil waters of Gongmen Harbor lapped gently against the sampan as it glided silently beneath the stone bridge. The Furious Five, poised and ready, leapt up and began scaling the aged walls with practiced ease. Po, however, struggled at first, his round form bouncing off the stone a couple of times before he finally found his footing. With a determined grunt, he joined his friends atop a roof, their vantage point offering a sweeping view of the city streets below.
