Work Text:

Camila was trying her hardest to keep up with Ally. They were supposed to be working on a project for their creative writing class but the blonde had drifted to another tangent about her brother. In the last five minutes alone Camila had to steer Ally back on track to their project but she was running out of patience. Camila loved Ally, absolutely adored her but there were some times, well in the words of Lauren Jauregui, wanted to put her own head through a wall.

Camila sat her phone down on the couch cushion in between her and Ally and made her way to the kitchen. She was going to need caffeine to deal with a rambunctious Ally for a while longer. Camila wasn't going to be gone from her phone for more then a minute but in that minute she received a text message.

Ally noticed Camila's phone light up, "Mila, you got a new message!! It says message received from My Good Girl."

Camila froze in place. She was waiting for the questions but it seemed Ally had went back to the notes for their project. Camila almost sighed in relief, thinking Ally didn't realize anything and wasn't going to push who texted her. Camila was never that lucky though and she could see Ally's eyes get wide and a smile break out over her face.

Ally jumped up and ran over to Camila, "Mila! Mila! Who's your good girl? Why do you call them that? Do I know them? Are you dating?"

Camila was trying to take in every single question Ally was throwing at her in rapid succession.

"Ally! Slow down. I umm, I call them that just because I do. I don't want to talk about it. She's very special to me and that's all I'm going to say."

For the next ten minutes Camila tried to ignore Ally's pleading eyes and poking questions until the girl finally learned she wasn't going to get anything out of her. They finally got back on track working on their project once again. Camila took the chance to check and reply to the message she had gotten.

Ally watched out of the corner of her eye as Camila replied to the mystery girl. Camila was smiling and there was a slight pink tinge to the tan girl's cheeks. Ally had no idea who this mystery girl was but whoever she was she really made Camila happy. Ally had never seen Camila quite this happy. There was definitely something special going on as she watched Camila type away a reply.

The next day at lunch the group were all around the lunch table except for Camila. She stayed behind to get some advice from Mr. Tomlinson and Ally was going to use this to her advantage.

"Does anyone know who Camila's special lady is?"

The group looked at Ally with confusion and one with a look of apprehension. Ally was playing with her hair, "I thought you guys knew about her. Phooey. I feel bad now."

Camila joined the table with a smile on her face but soon noticed the weird tension in the air, "Umm what's up guys?"

Ally looked at her with the big kitty cat eyes, "I'm sorry Camila! I asked everyone if they knew who your special lady was because I thought the others knew already."

Camila wanted to be agitated with Ally but she knew she couldn't. She didn't ask Ally to keep anything a secret and even if she did it wouldn't have mattered. Camila took a very quick glance at someone at the table before anyone could catch her.
