Lauren noticed Camila started acting weird on Tuesday when she said she wasn't up for studying after school.

"What do you mean you're not up for it?" Lauren asked.

"I'm just not up for it, Lo, okay?" Camila growled rather aggressively.

Lauren took a step back looking at her in shock, caught off guard, Camila's angry expression changed to a worried one.

"Sorry Lo, I mean I'll make it up to you next week, okay?" Camila said, patting Lauren's shoulder lovingly before abruptly pulling her hand away, shoving her hand in her pocket.

On Wednesday during their lunch period, Camila didn't show up at the cafeteria.

"Lauren," Ally said with a mouthful of food, "Where's Camila today? She wasn't around for art."

"Yeah, she wasn't in history class either," Dinah added, scooting closer to Normani to wake her up out of her zone, with her music in her ears.

"I don't know where she is, she was acting weird last night." Lauren sighed, taking a sip of her water.

Normani pulled out her earbuds, "She texted me saying she was sick," Normani said, letting Dinah lean against her shoulder.

Lauren sighed, "I don't know, something's up though, that's for sure."

Ally shrugged, "Don't worry about it. She'll come around." Ally slapped Lauren in the shoulder a little too hard but Lauren learned how to feel the sentiment anyway.

Thursday and Friday, Camila didn't show up at school either, and Normani was the only one getting texts with an excuse of 'hiiiiii i'm sick but i'll be fine xxxx'. Dinah and Normani took Friday night to go out on a date and Ally had some family thing to go to so Lauren was left alone.

Lauren walked around her house aimlessly, not really paying any attention to her siblings. She didn't know why she hadn't called Camila for this long to see why she wasn't going to school, but for some reason, calling Camila seemed a little scary - considering how she had acted on Tuesday and then disappeared. But After walking up and down the stairs four times, she decided to call Camila.

"Hello?" Her mom, Sinu, picked up.

"Hey Sinu, it's Lauren. Uh, is Camila there?"

Sinu paused, "Uh dear, Camila isn't doing so well right now..."

Lauren sighed, "Yeah, she texted Normani that she was sick. Just thought she'd be able to talk on the phone..."

"Aw dear, well, I'll tell her you called, okay? She's just going through something right now." Sinu cooed as something thudded loudly on her side of the line.
