As soon as Haerin finished her phone call with Wonyoung, she wasted no time springing into action. She immediately rang up Jerry, urgently asking him to come over.
"We got a lead on Dani!"
She shouted loud enough for Hanni and Hyein to stir from their sleep. Hanni shot up from her bed, quickly grabbing her phone to dial Danielle's number.
"Pick up," Hanni desperately repeated to herself. No matter how many times she called, the line seemed dead. In a panic, she even tried accessing Danielle's smartwatch but to no avail.
After many failed attempts, Hanni let out a discouraged groan and began to get ready.
...
"I'm here!" Jerry panted as he met up with the D.E.B.S. in front of their house.
"I have the address," Haerin spoke, her expression serious. "We need to go, now."
Jerry, Hanni, and Hyein looked at her, a mixture of fear and determination pounding in their chest. Without wasting another moment, they nodded and hopped onto their respective motorcycles.
"Lead the way, Kitten."
Haerin shot a sharp glare at Hyein as she mentioned her codename that Hyein knew she despised. Disregarding this, she refocused her attention on the mission at hand. She straddled her motorcycle and put on her helmet, eyes scanning the GPS on her device. With a firm grip on the throttle, she revved the engine and propelled the motorcycle forward, with the others quickly following suit.
The crew expertly maneuvered their motorcycles through the winding streets, taking every shortcut and sharp turns to save some time. As the GPS led them further into the city, they found themselves near a secluded and seemingly rundown warehouse.
Haerin's motorcycle skidded to a halt as she slammed on the brakes, causing a cloud of dust to rise. She dismounted her bike as she waited for the others.
"Welp, this is the place our GPS led us to." With a swift movement, she armed herself with her guns before giving her comrades an encouraging look. "Now, let's go save our Dani!"
They approached the padlocked door, with Jerry taking the lead. He fished out a small laser from his pocket and switched it on, skillfully moving the beam of light to cut through the lock. After a few moments, the lock broke, falling to the ground with a soft metallic thud.
Once the door gave way, they ran inside, their footsteps echoing softly in the warehouse. Guns at the ready, they moved cautiously, their eyes scanning their surroundings for any sign of danger.

Yujin let out a victorious cackle as she placed down her "+4" card on the pile, grinning confidently.
"Uno!" she jeered at the others. "Take that, you losers! I'm one step closer to kicking your asses."
A cocky glint shone in her eyes as she looked around the table. She only had one card left, already feeling the sweet taste of victory on her tongue.
Her little celebration was soon interrupted by the blaring alarm. The piercing sound shattered the moment, causing the people in the room to scowl in annoyance.
"Breach," Yujin announced, sounding more frustrated than panicked.

The crew slowed their pace as the sound of whispering reached their ears. They exchanged wary glances, silently communicating their suspicions.
"UNO!"
Suddenly, Yujin leaped and pounced on Haerin from above. Haerin let out a gasp of surprise as Yujin landed on top of her, momentarily pinning her onto the ground.
She immediately kicked Yujin off, sending her tumbling to the ground. Haerin then leaped back up, her muscles tensed and ready for a fight. As she did, the rest of Yujin's companions rushed into the scene.
Haerin, Hyein, and Jerry fought with precision and skill, their movements methodical and powerful as they beat up the other mercenaries. Meanwhile, Hanni discreetly pulled Yujin to the side, away from the commotion.
"What...the hell?" Yujin leaned in close, her voice low as she spoke.
"I couldn't stop them!" Hanni explained. She knew where Danielle had gone to since the start. Every time she stayed at home, Yujin had kept her posted on Danielle's situation and she had vowed not to tell anyone.
"You look nice, by the way," Yujin blurted out. "Thanks– Wait, what?"
"What are you doing?"
Hanni whipped her head around to face Haerin, noticing that all the other mercenaries were already knocked out.
"Nothing!" she said before throwing a punch to Yujin's face, sending the girl to the ground, unconscious.
Haerin shook her head before motioning for Hanni to follow her. Hanni looked down at Yujin, murmuring a quick apology before carefully stepping over her unconscious body.
They moved through the building, clearing each floor as if it were some sort of game. With every floor they conquered, they grew more determined, their focus unwavering as they made their way closer to the top floor.
"This is the last room," Haerin stated, her voice steady yet brimming with anticipation. "Everyone ready?"
The trio exchanged determined glances before nodding. Without further hesitation, they readied themselves, taking a brief moment to prepare mentally and physically.
They braced themselves for the worst as they burst through the door. However, they were met with a sight that completely shattered their expectations. Minji was on top of Danielle, their bodies entwined beneath a blanket, their discarded clothes scattered across the floor. Whispers and moans escaped Danielle's mouth, her breath shaky as she repeatedly called out Minji's name.
Danielle gasped as she separated from Minji, her chest rising and falling rapidly as she struggled to catch her breath. The two clutched onto the blankets tightly, at a loss for words.
They all froze in place, their eyes wide with shock and bewilderment. For a brief moment, the room was plunged into silence as they all processed the unexpected scene.
Danielle hastily attempted to explain herself "It is not what you think." Despite this, Haerin gave her a dirty look, her expression remaining cold and unforgiving before she stormed out of the room. Jerry quickly followed suit, his face twisted into a disapproving grimace.
"I hope it was worth it," Hyein said softly. Without another word, she too exited the room.
Hanni was the last to leave as she spoke, "You really should check your messages," recalling all the messages and voicemails she had sent.
As the door closed behind Hanni, Danielle's emotions began to take over, causing her eyes to well up with tears. Minji wasted no time enveloping the blonde in a comforting embrace, whispers of reassurance falling softly from her lips.
"It'll be okay," she whispered soothingly, pressing a gentle kiss to Danielle's bare shoulder.
"No, it won't."
