Two years had passed since the events that had altered their lives forever. Danielle and Minji had built a new life together in a luxurious villa off the coast of Italy, and their relationship was stronger than ever. Ever since quitting the life of crime, Minji has made sure to secure their financial stability, keeping enough money to ensure they live comfortably. Danielle had followed her passion for music, attending one of the top music schools in the country. Minji, on the other hand, stayed true to renting sailboats out to tourists, finding solace and a sense of purpose in the simple, peaceful life they had built together.

It was a warm Saturday evening. Danielle had the day off from classes, and Minji took some time off of work. The dinner table had been meticulously adorned with finely crafted plates and utensils, the tablecloth neatly laid out. The savory aroma of home-cooked food filled the air, adding to the cozy and inviting ambiance of their home. Danielle and Minji then found themselves patiently waiting in the living room, their faces filled with anticipation. They'll be here any minute now.

The soft ring of the doorbell broke the silence, causing the couple to perk up excitedly. They exchanged a glance, their eyes sparkling with joyous anticipation. Danielle opened the door with Minji trailing behind her, revealing the faces of four familiar figures. Without hesitation, hugs were exchanged, and heartfelt greetings were shared before the group made their way into the beautiful living room.

As Danielle and Minji observed their guests entering the living room, one detail immediately caught their attention. Hanni and Yujin seemed to have formed a deeper bond since they last saw them. There was an intimacy in the way they held hands, a sense of closeness that spoke of a stronger connection than mere friendship. Danielle exchanged a knowing glance with Minji, a subtle smirk playing at the corners of her lips.

"So," Danielle spoke up, plopping herself on the couch next to Minji. "How are you guys?"

"I'm part of the International Bureau," Haerin announced, her voice carrying a sense of pride and accomplishment. She excitedly showed off her ID to the group, a wide grin plastered on her face. Without wasting a moment, Danielle lunged forward, a smile gracing her features, and enveloped Haerin in a tight embrace. The group clapped, faces filled with genuine delight as they congratulated Haerin. "I'm so happy for you." Danielle gently patted Haerin's back.

"And I'm..." Hyein let out a sigh with mock exasperation as she finished her sentence. "Still in the D.E.B.S." A moment of silence hung in the air before a chorus of laughter broke out. Danielle and the others knew all too well the demands and challenges of being a D.E.B., and they couldn't help but empathize with Hyein's weary sigh. "Just one more year," Minji said consolingly, a hint of teasing in her tone.

The conversation turned towards the topic of the new lineup of D.E.B.S., and Hanni, ever curious, couldn't help but ask, "Can we see them?"

Hyein rolled her eyes lightly. "Of course, you're interested in them," she retorted, a playful smirk forming. However, the question piqued Danielle's interest as well.

"Have they been giving you trouble?" Danielle queried, her tone teasing.

"I don't know, you tell me," Haerin replied, pulling out her phone.
