𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐬

Chapter Two.

    

     IN THE CLASSROOM, the two take their seats in the back by the windows as everyone else arrives a couple moments after them. Once everyone was here, taken their seats and everything, Jojo makes her way to the front of the class. "What's with Spider calling Amerie Map Bitch?" Romeo whispers to Stevie who sighs. "She did it." She replies.

The Castillo boy glances over to the girl sitting at the tables in front of theirs, wondering how she could have known about her and Spider. Cash was the last to arrive, sitting down at the same table as Stevie and Romeo, his back facing them. "Cemetery tomorrow? It's gonna be a rager." Dusty says as he daps up Ant.

"Oi, uh, what's the cemetery?" Darren asked the group of boys. "None ya biz, bong water." Spider answers them right away, making Darren make a face at the blond boy. "Okay. Settle down. Thank you." Principal Woods sets down her dog. "Are we going to that?" Stevie whispers to Romeo now who just shrugs softly.

"I hate parties. You know that." He replied quietly as Miss Obah begins, "hi everyone. I'm Miss Josephine Obah, but you can call me Jojo. Kind of like, "Yo-yo," but J." She chuckles but gets no reaction from the teenagers. She softly clears her throat, "I'm an English teacher, so I know some of you. But I'm sure you're all wondering why you're here. Well, your names were on the map in the stairwell. You know, the one that's out of bounds." She goes on.

"Um, what map?" The boy seated next to Amerie spoke up as he raised his hand. "Okay, very funny. Look, peeps, we're not dumb. We know a lot of you are sexually active, but we're concerned this map demonstrates a real lack of respect for one another when it comes to sexual relationships. So we want to address it head-on." The woman explained.

"This is a special class that aims to give you clear and accessible information about sex and intimacy--" "A sexual literacy tutorial." Principal Woods cuts off the woman. "SLT. So we're sluts?" Darren asked, making the boys in the back burst out laughing. Both Romeo and Stevie now watch in annoyance as Ant and Spider stood up, "sluts! Sluts! Sluts!" The blond boy chanted as he humps his hips towards the brunette standing in front of him.

"That's enough. Come on, everyone. This class is gonna go back to the basics on sex and--" "because clearly, you all have a lot to learn in that department." Miss Woods cuts off Miss Obah once again. "It'll happen twice a week, in your own time." Jojo says as everyone makes shouts of disappoint. "Until-- no, until we judge that you started to respect each other and yourselves. And you've gotta attend every class or it'll go on your permanent record." Miss Obah now explains to the class.

"Wait, we have permanent records?" Ant now asked. "This is so unfair." Stevie groans, throwing her head back. "Yeah. It's bullshit." Romeo agreed, sighing as he crossed his arms. "This is sex jail!" Missy exclaims. "Thanks a lot, Map Bitch!" Ant now tossed a piece of paper at Amerie. "Oi!" The boy next to Amerie raised his hand again. "Sorry. Um, it's actually my first day. I don't think I'm supposed to be in here." He goes to grab his backpack.

"Legend! Made it to the map before you even started!" Spider shouted, laughing. "Alright, everybody up!" Miss Woods now shouts. "Up, up, up, up." She repeated when no one moved. "Okay, now clear these tables to the side, please. And lift them, don't scrape them along the floor." She says but no one listened, just pushing the tables.

Once everything was cleared, "thank you." She says to the class. "Now, I want you all to start walking around the room. Come on. Walking." Everyone does so, going around one another. "Good, you know how to walk." Miss Woods says. "Now, I want you to choose three other people to start shaking hands with." She said just as Stevie got to Ant.

She shook his hand, and he raises it to pretend to kiss it, so she snatched her hand away, rolling her eyes at the boy. "Shaking, shake... good, you know how to shake." She says as Stevie now shook hands with Darren, then lastly, Quinni. As for Romeo, he's shaken Dusty's hand, Sasha's and then Malakai's. "And... stop." Woods says so everyone stops where they were, looking to the woman.
