THE NEXT WEEK during the first SLT class of the week, Jojo smiled at them. "Well, I am really glad to see you all." She then chuckles. "I was kind of worried no one would show up. And I'm pleased to see some new faces too." She gestured to the back table.

Stevie had dropped SLT class as well, because of Enya dropping it, so Romeo sat with Missy, Malakai and Sasha. "Still your SLTs, miss." Amerie tells the woman. "Oh, I thought you'd be too busy with your campaign to make time for sexual literacy." Sasha says, and before Amerie can say anything back, Harper comes rushing in to take her seat next to her, so she turns towards her best friend instead.

"Well, I hope that making it an elective means we can have even more constructive and healthy discourse about sex and sexual-- yeah?" She gestured to Darren who had raised their hand. "Now that it's just us girls," they looked around, so Malakai and Romeo instantly glanced at one another, but don't say anything, "I was thinking maybe we could discuss why straight men don't know how to wash their assholes properly." They tell Jojo.

Laughter erupts from most of the girls as Romeo just covers his mouth, looking down. "I am really glad you stayed, Darren." Jojo says with a wide grin at the Rivers. "Yeah?" She gestured to a girl in the back. "I'd like to commend you for inviting other less sex-obsessed students into this class to shift it away from being an echo chamber." Zoe now tells the teacher, smiling.

"Oh." Jojo says as the other girls sitting with her snap their fingers. "Thank you." The woman smiles widely at the girls. "Come get your cousin, please." Darren had turned to Missy. "Uh, racist much? Not all Black fellas are related." Sasha scolded. "Oh, no, she actually is my cousin." Missy tells her and Romeo holds in his laugh when he sees Darren look relieved at the Beckett girl's words.

Outside, the group now walk over to the group of boys and Mr. Voss on the oval who are roasting a pig. "What the hell is that?" Amerie exclaimed, catching their attention. "Um, excuse me. I think we've booked out this space for our values relay." Jojo tells Timothy. "I believe that there's plenty of room for both." The man replied, standing in a line with the boys, facing the woman and the SLTs.

"Yeah, but we shouldn't have to breathe in dead carcass while we're doing a school activity, Mr. Voss." Miss Obah tells him. "Well, it's a football field, Miss Obah, not a arts precinct." Mr. Voss says. "Well, last time we checked, it's not a farmer's market either." Darren quips sassily. "Rack off. This is Lord territory." Spider says right away. "As candidate for SLTs," Amerie begins, "since when?" Sasha says with wide eyes, "I demand equal access to public spaces." The Wadia continued on.

"Well, as a Q-S-M-C-C-A-L-P candidate, I would like to also add that this is vegan hate. Not to mention blatantly against the rights of the Hartley High's Jewish and Muslim students. Is it even halal?" Sasha asked the group now. "Can pig be halal?" A boy asked, confused. "Get that pig off the oval." Sasha demanded, pointing at the roast. "Why don't we get this pig off the oval first?" Spider points at her.

"The fuck did you just say?" Missy pointed at him and Spider just oinks in response. The two sides now go back and forth arguing, but Romeo doesn't even bother, just looked away, over at their teacher who stepped up to Mr. Voss, the man quietly speaking to her, Spider glanced at him then, before continuing to bicker with both Missy and Sasha.

When Miss Obah walks off, Sasha and Amerie are quick to follow, along with Missy and Romeo. The teacher and four students arrive to Principal Woods' office, the woman on the phone, "ham sandwich?" Spider offers her. "Homemade." He adds, setting it down. "That's a bribe!" Amerie pointed at the sandwhich. "Amerie." Jojo says to the girl. "What? It's literally pork-barreling." She says. "It's a tasty treat the boys and I whipped up as part of their outdoor activity program." Timothy explains to the woman sitting at the desk.

"Thank you very much. I am very peckish, as it happens." The woman says, opening up the foil wrap and taking a bite. "Oh! That's really nice." Woodsy says, pointing at the sandwich. "What's your secret?" She asked. "Cum-in." Mr. Voss says and Romeo grimaced. "If we could get away from the topic of cum for one second, that'd be great." Jojo says.

"CUMLORDS!"

"Thank you, Anthony. Helpful as always."

"Yes." The boy raised a thumbs up as the girls and Romeo make annoyed or disgusted faces. "What is the problem?" Their principal asked the two groups. "I'm concerned that Mr. Voss and his man squad feel like they've got a monopoly on all the sports space." Miss Obah says. "It's not my fault nobody watches women's sport." Mr. Voss remarks. "That's not true." Woodsy argued, pointing at the man.

"Boys are sportier, alright? It's basic science."

"No, it's gendered bullshit." Amerie pointed at the men as Romeo nodded. "The eradication of which is one of my main campaign points." Sasha says, pointing at Amerie. "And they're trying to use the football ovals to make tedious political points." Timothy says to the principal . "I'm not sure what roasting a pig has to do with any kind of educational curriculum." Jojo says and Woodsy points at her.

"Well done, Jojo."

"If you give a man a fish, he'll be hungry the next day. But if you teach a man to fish--" "it's a pig." Miss Obah cuts off Mr. Voss. "Okay, if the boys think that they're so sporty, why don't they face off against us?" Amerie asked. "Game of footy. Winner gets pick of the sports spaces." She adds as Romeo, Sasha and Missy all agree, looking at Ant and Spider.

"Alright, you're on." Spider says right away. "Get ready to watch and learn how a real athlete uses her body, dickhead." Missy remarks. "Yeah and move that stupid pig and we'll see you on the oval mid-day tomorrow." Amerie says. "Sharp." Sasha says loudly, then the woman is kicking them out of her office.

In class later, Romeo glanced up when Missy looks at Malakai, "so, you and Amerie back together then?" The girl asked, a question that Romeo was curious about as well. "Oh, I'm not gonna buy into the shit people are posting about." The boy explains himself. "I'm not talking about that. What about the other stuff we talked about? Are you just going to ignore that?" Missy asked Malakai who looks away, at Romeo then behind the Castillo boy.

"Yep. Pretty much." He nods and Romeo furrows his brows. "Nice." Missy says. "Real healthy." The Castillo says and the Mitchell just hums, smiling at him and nodding softly. Romeo rolls his eyes, "spoken as someone who's been there before, it'll just end up messy, Mal." He says, shrugging as he glanced down and Missy sent the boy a look.

"But you know, no pressure." He quickly says and Malakai just looks at him, nodding softly. "Hey, wanna practice today after school?" Missy now asked Romeo. "Practice for what?" He asked. "Game of footy. You're probably way off your athletic game because you haven't played any sports since last term." She said and he scoffs. "Offended, but okay."
