7 : Bumpy

The group walks before a scream rings out causing everyone to scream as well. Hecate looks back at Ben, "What was that, Ben?"

"Sorry, I stepped on a twig." He replies

Hecate rolls her eyes and adjusts the makeshift sling holding her arm upright.

"Ugh, come on, man." Darius grumbles

"You done gave me a heart attack!" Sammy exclaims loudly. Hecate frowns, she feels a bit bad for her outburst a few hours prior. While she doesn't care much for Sammy's opinion, she hopes that Yasmina understands.

"I should step on you." Kenji mutters and Hecate giggles.

"It's okay, Ben." Darius says, "We're all on edge."

"And lost."

"Yeah, we've been out here for a while now." Hecate says, "Ben, you probably memorized a map, right? Do you know where we are?"

Brooklynn speaks, not giving Ben the chance to answer, "Well, we'd be sure if I still had my phone,because it has a GPS, a compass app—"

"Sammy didn't steal your phone! No one stole your phone!" Yaz yells.

Hecate grits her teeth, "Oh my God!" She exclaims, "Can we please stop talking about the damn phone!? It's gone and there's nothing we can do about it, so please just drop it!"

"You guys! You guys, you guys, you guys. Could you all yell at each other quieter, please?" Ben says.

"My fellow campers, chill! What we need here is someone who can make the hard call on what to do next." Kenji says making Hecate scoff, "Since I'm obviously leadership material...I'll do this."

Hecate shakes her head, "Really? You're gonna be the self-proclaimed leader?"

"Eh! No talk backing the leader," he replies with his finger raised, "And my first decree as leader is for everyone to stop talking and just listen to dino-nerd and muscles."

"Don't ever call me that again, doofus" she mutters, rolling her eyes.

Kenji sighs at everyone before addressing Darius and Hecate, "You got us out of camp alive. Plus, I can blame you if anybody gets eaten," he chuckles, "So, which way, Darius?"

"Please, you're just trying to cover up the fact that you're lost, too, Mr. VIP." Brooklynn snarks

"None of us know where we are." Hecate says, "But thankfully, I still have my bag which means we have some clothes and granola bars" she says, not mentioning the gun, and shifts the bad laying on her good arm, "It'll get dark soon if we don't keep moving so stop talking and let's go." Hecate's eyes wander to behind them. Yaz was holding Sammy's hand and leaning on her while they chatted.

"I know where we are!" Darius suddenly exclaims, catching her attention, "We're by the Carnotaurus paddock! I thought this place looked familiar."

Kenji smirks, "Am I an excellent leader or what?"

"I remember the fence." Darius continues as they walk forward. The gate has a gaping hole through it when they arrive.

'The broken, ripped-down fence." Sammy mutters from behind them.

Ben starts panting fast as his eyes dart around, "That means... That means Toro
is out here... with us."

The boxer hooks the bags strap over her neck and walks to him, "calm down, Ben. We will be fine." The younger boy nods but his eyes stay wide.

"Now we have to deal with the Indominus and Toro." Brooklynn says

Darius whips his head at her, "Hold up. How do you know about Toro?"
