"I guess this is goodbye for good." Ben says as he presses his head to Bumpy's, "I'm gonna miss you, pal. Thank you for everything"
"We're gonna miss you, Bumpy. Be a good girl." Yasmina hugs the dinosaur next, saying goodbye.
Away from the others, Hecate stands next to Bambi, "I don't want to leave you, Bambi." She says. Bambi bends down slightly and shoves her head into Hecate's stomach. She groans slightly before coughing violently. Brooklynn looks over in worry since she knows everything that happened to Hecate, including her injuries.
"Hecate? You alright?" She calls over.
No, she's obviously not alright, Hecate thinks. She coughs again, holding her stomach while leaning against Bambi.
Meanwhile, Darius walks up beside Kenji, "Sorry the rescue didn't go as smoothly as I'd hoped." He chuckles
"It never does. But somehow, it always works out." Kenji replies but he doesn't seem happy.
"Listen, don't feel bad about stealing the laptop." Darius continues, "I get it. We all just wanted Brooklynn back safe. So, we good?"
Kenji rolls his eyes, "No, we're not." He huffs, "Because unlike you, I don't take risks with friends' lives." Darius watches as he walks off.
Ben and Hecate finish bidding farewell to their dinosaurs and the group settles onto the ship.
...
"Are we really off the island or is this a dream?" Sammy exclaims
"If it were a dream, I'm thinking we'd have a change of clothes." Yasmina says.
"What do you mean? I've always wanted a signature look." Brooklynn jokes, settling in next to them before looking at Kenji.
"Hey, Captain. It's lunchtime." She says, stepping forward.
"Can't leave my post till we're docked in Costa Rica. I'm the only one of us who's ever sailed before." He replies, not taking his eyes from the water.
"How hard can it be?" The girl continues.
"I'm not leaving."
"Come on, Kenji, just cut the engine. Ten minutes won't kill you." She sets a hand on his arm, "It might be our last meal together"
Kenji looks at her for a moment before sighing and shutting the engine off.
...
"And now, for the main course, the plumpest and the juiciest..." Ben sets down a bowl of bugs on the table making Sammy gasp in disgust, "Nublar grubs!"
"Ugh! Ew!" Brooklynn exclaims while Yaz brings a hand to her mouth.
"Hand-selected by yours truly." Ben says and grabs one, "Thank you for your sacrifice." He tells it before tossing it into his mouth. Hecate grabs a couple and throws them in her mouth, laying back against the seat while eating.
"Come on. Do you have to do that here?" Yaz asks, looking at them both in disgust.
"Well, I guess the least I can do is keep an open mind." Sammy says. Ben grabs one and holds it next to her.
"Do it." He says. Sammy grabs it and holds it away from her. It squirms and she yelps throwing it and knocking the bowl off the table.
Hecate huffs and rolls her eyes, "How you all survived, I'll never know." She mutters, putting her arm on the back of the cushion. Yaz raises an eyebrow at her, sending her a look but Hecate just huffs and looks away.
"Okay. No tears or goodbyes until we're sittin' on the plane, but can I just say, look at us." Sammy starts, "We started as campers, and now, we're-"
"Immortal." Ben says.
