Chapter 7: Coincidence Or Fate?

The telephone that was on top of Maki's table rang all of a sudden catching her attention, it's only been 5 minutes since her buttocks touch the comfort of her office chair and now she feel like it's about time to go somewhere.

"Hello?" She said as soon as she answer the call.

"Come to my office, now." As soon as those words have been said the phone line went dead.

'Ano nanaman kailangan non?' Maki thought to herself.

She stride towards her Boss's office and knock before entering. She closed the door after she went in and her eyes immediately found its way towards Cielo who's sitting on her swivel chair. To come and to think of it, this has been the only moment they get to see each other face to face as she was busy pacing back and forth heading to the different departments to check up on the task whereabouts. Maki couldn't help but to momentarily take in the latter's outfit. Cielo is wearing a plain white button-down sleeve and due to her glass table, Maki can see through the latter's bottom clothing which is a black pantsuit along with a white-colored stilettos to pair it with.

"I want you to shop clothes for me. I already send you the money." Cielo said catching Maki's attention.

"It's for tomorrow's. Alam mo naman siguro ang theme, no?" The latter added raising a brow as she question the younger woman across from her.

Maki feeling the burnout kicking in and left with no energy to reason, she just nodded her head. She'll figure it out. Maki excused herself out and make her way back to her cubicle.

As Maki was walking through the lobby, someone noticed her and went to approach her.

"Hey." A familiar voice said behind Maki, the latter immediately turn around and saw a redhead beaming back at her. The contagious smile causes Maki to mirror it.

"Morgana!" Maki said with enthusiasm.

"Maki." Morgan replied.

"Where you headed?"

"What are you doing here?"

The both of them said at the same time causing a laughter to erupt from them. Morgana shook her head.

"You go first." She said allowing the latter to continue.

"What are you doing here? I mean, alam ko naman na sainyo itong company na 'to." Pabirong sabi ni Maki kay Morgana.

"Uhm, nothing. Napadaan lang. How about you, where are you headed to?"

"Out, inuutusan ako ng kapatid mo to do shopping, specifics, ng damit." Maki answered. The younger woman nodded at Maki.

"Can I sama sa'yo? And besides I can help you carry things." Morgan asked and Maki just flash her a smile.

"Eh? Don't you have somewhere else to go to?"

"I was actually on my way to Ate Cielo's, she called me awhile ago but I missed it. Siguro I was the one she was hoping to do the shopping pero yeah, unattended ako kanina." Morgan explained and scratch her nape slyly.

"Are you sure gusto mo sumama?" Tanong ni Maki dito, her brows raising in question. The latter nodded her swiftly.

"So...where to?" Morgan asked feeling a little exhilarated.
