Maki looked down at the list of things that Rebecca had sent her. The money was already transferred on her account so as to why she doesn't have any reason para hindi bilhin yung mga inuutos sakaniya.
"Parte pa ba ng pagiging secretary ang maging delivery girl?" Pagtatanong ni Maki sa kaniyang sarili.
Maki went to a boutique shop first at nag tingin-tingin ng mga suit. After awhile of wandering inside the boutique, she finally saw something that caught her attention at iyon ang kaniyang binili.
'She will look handsome in this. Wait- hindi ko pala alam if para sakaniya itong suit na'to pero maganda siya and I think it'll suit anyone who wears it.' With this thought in her mind, she bought the clothes.
Next, she went to GreendGold at nag-grocery shopping, despite having an air conditioned environment somehow it feels humid sa loob ng shop, sa dami ba naman ng tao sa naroon. Pagkatapos niyang makapag full grocery ay nagtungo siya sa usual na binibilhan ng vegan food ng kaniyang boss at nag take out. At last, she's now at a coffee shop na favourite ng boss niya, and how'd she knew that, you ask? Well, siya lang naman ang taga bili ng kape niya. Minsan secretary misan coffee girl pero most of the time ay si errand girl siya.
She's standing on a line waiting for her turn. Pagkatapos niyang makabili ng kape ay dumiretso na siya pabalik sa company building where she's currently working, at tinungo ang kanilang office floor.
Maki feels and knew na sobrang haggard na niya, from all those walking and commuting ba naman tapos sa init pa ng panahon, kahit si Maria Makiling na isang dyosa ay hindi din kakayaning maging fresh. She felt a sweat trickle down on the side of her face pero wala siyang magawa kasi both of her hands are occupied. With a coffee on her hand left hand, and the shopping bags on her right arm.
She waited patiently sa loob ng elevator, as the lift escalated. Upon reaching the floor she punch, the elevator door opened an saw some of her co-employee waiting outside to ride the lift. She bow at them and they smiled bakc at her. Make her way towards her boss's office. Maki noticed that Rebecca and her other workplace buddies where nowhere in sight, maybe dahil it's already lunchtime, that's why.
'Baka nasa cafeteria.' she thought.
She struggled opening the door to her boss's office but she eventually managed to do it. She entered the office, forgetting to knock, the two person inside the office turn their attention to Maki in an instant.
"Uhm, sorry for not knocking. May visitor ka pala." Maki said bowing her head down, and went to put the coffee on top of the coffee table.
Morgana on the other hand, seeing the latter with so much in her hands immediately went to her to offer help.
"Thank you but you don't have-" Maki tried speaking but Morgana cut her off.
"It's okay." Morgan said while smiling widely at Maki, the smile was so contagious that it made Maki smile as well.
"If you're done putting those away, you can go na." Cielo said cutting the small adorable interaction between Maki and Morgan.
Maki bow her head and exited the office.
"Hindi man lang nag thank you. Tsk." Maki whispered to herself, rolling her eyes. She went to her cubicle and sat down, took her small portable fan to cool her self.
Morgan look at her sister as soon as Maki disappear out of the door.
"Was that Maki?" Morgan asked curiously, she knows well that it was Maki indeed, she just want to make sure that she's not imagining things at all.
