Lumipas ang araw nang hindi matukoy ni Maki ang kaniyang gagawin sa inuutos ng kaniyang Boss sakanya. It's not that she doesn't know to do it, as a matter of fact it's quite the opposite she has connections to put the task in action pero ang hindi niya lang ma-execute ay kung paano siya makikipag-usap sa hihingian niya ng number ng dalaga. She's an outgoing and a friendly person pero at this moment, she doesn't know how to approach them without exposing her strong opposition, she definitely doesn't trust her face to stay neutral and blank.
She pushed the thought to the back of her head and move on to how she's gonna get the News Anchor's personal number. An idea popped in her head, maybe it doesn't have to be personally na hihingiin niya yung number ng dalaga, in that way hindi siya mahihirapan makipag interact.

The crowing of the roaster can be heard outside, indicating that the morning had came already but Maki could only rub her eyes. She didn't even got a wink of sleep last night, her thoughts flooding her mind, contemplating every decision she made in her life.
If others would see her they would think that she's acting like a child, sulking because they found out that their crush has someone that they like. But to Maki and to those who's close with her, and knew the things she went through just to be where she is now, they would think different.
Flashback

It's almost the end of the school year and without knowing it, Maki will be enrolling on a university already. With the program in mind that she desired to study. She was ready for a new environment, a different campus with different faces.
"Uy Maki, sure ka na bang Architecture ang kukunin mong course?" nabaling ang attention ni Maki sanagtanong, it was Angelou– one of her classmates.
Tumango ito bilangsagot.
"Sabagay, magalingka naman mag drawing kaya alam kong kayangkaya mo 'yun!" the latter said with exaggeration and Maki only laugh.
