5 minutes ago, Cielo and Morgana were like drowning in the influence of alcohol but now, it's just like the register of booze had exited their body as they both stand facing each other.
“I'm lagging, my mind is lagging on what you just said.” Morgana stated.
“It's not a big of a deal–”
“What do you mean, ‘it's not big of a deal’? Marriage, we're talking about marriage here, Ate Cielo.” Morgana said cutting her sister's sentence off.
“Pwede bang makinig ka muna sa'kin and let me finish first?” Cielo answered and Morgana shuts her lips.
“Gusto ni Lolo na makasal na ako, and he's been nagging me ever since. I don't want to marry someone just yet as well pero preni-pressure ako ni Lolo. You have meet him once, pero you don't know what he's capable of doing. Lahat ng gusto niya, 'yon ang masusunod.” May halong riin sa bawat salita ni Cielo and Morgana knew that her sister is telling the truth. Nagpaalwas ng malalim na buntong hininga si Morgana.
“I still don't agree about that marriage, ready ka na ba mag commit? It'll change everything, Ate Cielo, I'm telling you.” umiling si Cielo na may kompiyansa sa sarili.
“Don't worry, everything is being furnished na. Hindi naman ako pang habangbuhay magiging married.” Morgana's face contours in confusion.
“What do you mean by that?”
“Let's just say na, I'm gonna be married temporarily and as soon as I get grandfather's attention torn from me, I'll be free. And mind you, I don't think marrying to this person means a lifetime imprisonment.” kibit-balikat na sambit ng dalaga.
Mas lalo namang naguluhan si Morgana sa mga pinagsasabi ng kaniyang kapatid.
“What're you talking about?” Morgana questioned.
“It means, that the marriage is just a mirage, an up-front act to cover the big picture. Are you getting what I'm hinting?”
“So you're just gonna use someone?”
“Morgana, is it considered as ‘using someone’ if both parties agreed?”
“Who would agree to such thing?” Morgana said, unbelievably.
“Actually, hindi pa siya nag agree, hinihintay ko pa ang magiging desisyon niya. If she doesn't want to, I won't force her, and I will respect her decision.” Cielo said.
Morgana still wanted to say something but she held herself back, she knows that if her sister had already made a choice she will stand by it. With a sigh, Morgana gave up.
“I hope you know what you're doing, Ate Cielo. By the way, who's this girl and what's her deal to agree with that kind of set-up? Or does she know?” sunod sunod na tanong ni Morgana sa kapatid.
“Calm down, and yes, I'm not keeping her in the dark it's because she has her own catch on this deal as well.” Cielo answered.
“And that is?” Morgana, with curiosity on her face, asked.
Cielo was about to say something when a phone started ringing out of nowhere, Morgana's phone is buzzing on her pocket and she immediately took it out to answer the call.
“Hello?” Morgana greeted as soon as the line connected.
“Okay, Okay. I'll be there in 5.” The latter said and hung up the call.
