Chapter 10

The three of them angrily marched inside the pharmacy and talked to the pharmacist. The wounded Aella glared at the pharmacist.

"Give us the medicine for the slime poison." Febbie instructed the pharmacist. The pharmacist hesitated but she gave them the medicine and they angrily gave the money to her. "I thought it's out of stock?" Aella asked.

The scared pharmacist nodded. "Our stock came an hour later." She responded to them.

"We want to talk to the doctor." Angry Febbie made the pharmacist even more scared and he didn't know what to respond. Febbie is furious.

Even without the response of the pharmacist, they walked into the office of the doctor. They saw the doctor who is seating in his chair. The doctor looked at them and smiled at them.

"I didn't expect the tree of you here at this time." He said and smile at him. "Seat at my sofa and show me the plants." He said and sat at the single sofa.

"No one will sit at that sofa. How dare you fool us?" Lyndsey said in a sweet, warm and calm voice. She's also smiling but her eyes say otherwise. She's scary and her smile is not the smile she wants to see, it's a smile that sends warning.

"I was discovered." The doctor realized.

"But we are here to show you something. You shouldn't fool us. Karma is here." Lyndsey took out the sundelion and showed it to the doctor.

"Sundelion." The stunned doctor said and stared at it. He tried to get it but Lyndsey gave it to Aella. "She's is the rightful owner. She fought the demigod."

"We just want to show you this. We already have the medicine. Your idiot pharmacist sold it to us. I hope you learned your lesson." Aella said and the three of them walked out of the pharmacy laughing.

Aella took a deep breath when she saw Kai's house. After a hard day, she will be at ease. The home is hidden under vines and large trees. The vines have violet and red flowers that makes the house beautiful. The place is silent and she understand why Kai built a house, you will not find peace in his father house.

          Barbara was the one who give the medicine to Kai. She injected it directly in his bloodstream.

There aren't enough beds or rooms, but there is one mattress available for her. She lay the mattress on the floor of the room. The four girls share one room because the house only has two. For the first time in weeks, she will sleep early and soundly.

During her training for Knights, she developed her senses while sleeping. She trained herself to be alert while sleeping, so she woke up with the feeling of someone is looking at her and she saw Kai laying beside her.

"It's early in the morning and you're staring at me. Are recovered?" She said to him angrily and sat down on the mattress. Kai didn't stop staring at her, so she glared at him. "Stop staring at me and go back to your room." She commanded him.

"I don't want." The bastard responded to her.

She breathes deeply. "You're not fine. The poison is still on your brain." She joked.

Kai shaked his head. "Nah. I'm just admiring your beauty." He's flirting her again so he has recovered, but his body is probably still weak at moment.

"Where are the three girls, by the way?" She asked him. She can't take this man's personality alone.

"They left. Lyndsey took the flower on his master. She is working in alchemy and since you gave her the flower that you worked hard. Febbie also returned to her work as a maid. While Barbara, works at the cathedral. It's just the two of us." Kai answered.
