Kai's POV

After the news of being declared as a traitor, we organized a meeting for the five of us. We planned and of course I did behaved slightly. I just can't resist my Aella. She's so sexy and beautiful while planning.

I accepted the role she gave. Which is to make sure that my father will continue his plan and I thought I succeeded. But I was wrong, he knows everthing and I broke mt promise to her that we will fight Richart together.

Before I could get out of the house. They cornered me and locked my hands, and took my sword from me. They locked me up in the underground with my hands and feet tied, and they left.

I even heard my fathers laughed before he left and when he came back my world shattered in pieces.

"I left her there. Lying on the ground, bleeding. I'm not sure is those girls survived." His words are like a dagger, he kept on plugging in inside of my heart.

"Stop talking!" I shouted at him. I don't want to hear him.

For days, they punched my body nonstop. I feel numb physically and mentally. My heart aches and tears are rolling down from my eyes to my cheeks every second. I can't imagine my love has gone through.

I kept on crying until I become dehydrated. They gave me water and a meal once and day. I thrive so hard inside of the room, so that I would know if my love survived or else I'll kill my father myself.

I didn't know what happened but I heard loud noises outside and all of the guards come out. Are we being attacked by our enemies? It could be my chance to escape but my body, hands and feet are in chains.

Then the next thing I knew, I'm out of the chains and lying on the most comfortable thing I know. I'm in a bed and inside the infirmary.

"Oh god. You're awake. I will call a nurse and a doctor." I turned my head and it was Febbie. She went out of the room to call some persons. I realized that I'm out of the hell. What happened?

A doctor and a nurse entered the room, to checked me.

"You will be okay, but you still need to stay here for your wounds. That's it and have a good day." That was the doctor said to me before they left.

"What happened?" I asked Febbie.

"You were rescued by the knights when they attacked the mansion." She answered.

I looked at the window. I saw the sky and looked again at Febbie. "What happened to Richart?" I asked. I don't want to call him my father.

"He escaped with others. There's nothing unusual to that. Some criminals are captured."

Then I suddenly remembered someone. "The others? Are they okay? How is Aella?" I asked immediately to her like I was panicking.

"Barbara and Lyndsey are okay. Aella is also fine, she's with her mother in Starlight Mountain. Recovering from what happened." She answered while peeling an apple.

My heart calmed. At least I know that she is okay and alive.

Days passed and my bruises are better now. I opened my eyes, and I saw Febbie again, eating my foods.

I growled. "You are again. Are you sure they sent a message to Aella? How many days until the letter will be on her hands?" I ranted to her. She said the knights sent a message about me, to Aella. I'm hoping for her arrival.

I looked at Febbie when I heard her chuckles. "She's here this early in the morning." She pointed some bags. "Its her things." She said and my heart pump blood so heart. I guess my heart is so excited to feel her. But I can't see her anywhere.
