Chapter 22

Aella left their house in early in the morning to go to the city. She didn't waste any time and went to the infirmary after she reached the city. Aella saw Febbie when she entered the room of Kai.

"Aella, I didn't know you will go here?" Febbie said to her and hugged her.

After they hugged each other she glanced at Kai. "Keiran sent me a letter. How is he?" Aella asked Febbie?

"He's still resting. His body is badly injured." Febbie answered.

Aella put down her things on the floor. "I will be back later so you can rest. I will talk to the Grandmaster of the Knights." She said to Febbie and left the infirmary.

While walking on the city of the Aerthys she encountered Sarah. Aella smirked at her to tease her. And she didn't failed. Sarah raised her eyebrow at her.

"The hero is here." Sarah said to her with sarcasm.

Aella smirked more. "I'm a hero? Thank you. At least, I contributed something to the Knights and not just being a bitch." Sarah glared at her. "Keiran sent me letter so I'm here to talk to him." She used Keiran to pissed Sarah more.

"He doesn't like you!" Sarah said. She was about to cry.

Aella chuckled to mock Sarah. "I didn't mean to rub salt on your wounds. You haven't experience receiving a letter from him." She said and smirked again. "Bye." She added and walked away from her.

The Knights who saw her outside the headquarters greeted her and she just smiled at them. She entered the headquarters and there she saw Theo.

He noticed her and he moved to get near at her. Aella also saw some familiar faces.

"Aella, are you finally back?" Theo asked her. She saw the excitement on Theo's face.

"I'm going to talk to the grandmaster. Is he here?" She change the topic. Aella doesn't know what to answer to Theo's question.

"He's on his office. I'll company you to him." Theo answered.

Aella nodded and they both walked towards the grandmaster's office.

"How are you? I hope we're still friends after what happened?" Theo said.

"I still hate you."

"I know. What the knights did was terrible. The knights did that to help the city." Theo explained to her but for her. There is no valid reason for what they did to her. They made her a traitor in the eyes of her own city. Her name is tainted with that dirty word.

The explanations are nothing for her. What done is done. Explanations can't change everything.

"Don't use the city on me." Aella said and they stopped in front of the door of grandmaster's office. She glanced one more time on Theo before she entered the room.

Aella saw the Grandmaster on his seat doing something and he's looking on her. "I hope I'm not interrupting you, Grandmaster." She said.

Grandmaster smiled at her and stood up from his seat. "You're not. It's nice to see you. Take a seat, Miss Flair." He said and sat again on his seat.

She wants to rolled her eyes on him but he is still her grandmaster and she needs to respect him. He declared her as a traitor, her anger is valid.

"I want to tell you everything. I'm happy you lend me your time." He started and paused. Aella just listened. "My apologies for naming you a traitor. I have a reason of that. Richart has been threatening us about you. He sends us a lot of letters, threatening us that he will kill you. I declared you as a traitor to make him think that he can't use you anymore." The grandmaster explained.

"Then, why did you disregard the letter I sent here in headquarter." She painfully asked.

"We thought it's from Richart. Since, he's holding you as his hostage. I need to protect the knights, not just the ordinary people. But I know we made a mistake and as a Grandmaster, we want to say are sorry for what happened and I made sure that your name will become clean again. A big thank you for the files of evidences and for the location." He said.

"Actually, I'm not here to hear explanations but to report some details. And to ask you what is your next plan about Richart." Aella said.

"What details huh? I'm interested." Aella smiled at him.

"It's related to the case of Mr. Alberich's stolen son. I think I know who is it." Aella answered and took out the letter of her mother from her bag to and placed it on top of the table.

He grabbed it and opened the letter.

"It's Kai. He was rescued by the Knights when they attacked the mansion of Richart. He is also the one who kidnapped me. Richart made him his son and brainwashed to make him a criminal like him. My mother can testify to that. Richart's first victim of kidnapping is Kai. The possible son of Mr. Alberich." She explained to him.

"I will call Mr. Alberich about this and I will sent you a n update."

Aella nodded. "Okay. I will be going now." She said to goodbye to the grandmaster.

This is the least thing she can do for Kai. The ladies achieved their freedom and Kai also deserved a love and freedom. But they will never be happy , if Richart is still on loose.

Aella bought some foods first before going back to the infirmary. She opened the door of Kai's room and there she saw Kai. He has the grumpy face. Brows furrowed, pouting lips with bruises on his face. Febbie must be teasing him again.

"Kai, she's here already." Febbie announced. Kai just scoffed and crossed his arms on his chest.

Aella looked at Febbie. "Why he's grumpy?" She asked her and gave the foods she brought.

"I said to him that you went to the Knight's headquarters to see Keiran and Theo." Febbie answered and Aella laughed.

He's jealous. "Go. Laughed at me, Sexy. I know what you're thinking." Kai said and didn't looked at her.

"Thank you for the food, I get some. I will go back to my apartment now." Febbie said and went out.

"Are you jealous?" She asked Kai and sat at the chair beside of his bed. Aella missed him. She miss Kai and she still having fun seeing him jealous and pissed. "Why are jealous?"

"Why didn't you wait for me to be awake and you went to see men." He ranted to her.

Aella's hand went to his shoulder and rubbed it using her thumb. "I didn't saw Keiran but I saw Theo because he is in there but I didn't go there to see him. I went there to talk to the grandmaster. What do you want me to do to make it up to you?" She said and woo the grumpy Kai.

"I need some love." He answered and Aella suppressed her laughter.

"But did you already ate your breakfast?" She asked him and he shake his head. Seriously, this man, she thought.

"Why? Do you want me to feed you?" She asked him again. Aella opened the container that contains his breakfast. She picked up the spoon and tried to feed him and Kai opened his mouth.

"Is it good? Do you want another food?" Aella asked him and made sure that Kai likes the foods. Nutrient and the taste is important after all.

"Nah, it's good." He answered and just continued eating what Aella is giving him. Aella also helped him did his morning routine. Brush his teeth. Kai teased her and persuade her to help him took a bath. She almost got persuade and seduced by him.

After he took a bath. He went back to his bed. "Where is my kiss, sexy?" He asked to her and their eyes met. Those blue orbs are glistening and waiting for response.

"We're in the infirmary. A nurse might come in." She said but she's tempted. Aella saw Kai's eyes looked at her lips.

"I missed you." He said to her.

"Me too, so you should behave and I will gave you your kiss when you recovered." She said to him.
