Years had passed and now Qin was seven years old, soon she would be able to shift, she could hardly wait. Since arriving into this world she had learned a lot. She had pumped her brother for all the information she wanted without him being any the wiser. She had him fooled, he looked at her as a silly little thing that worshiped the sea he swam in. Qin did not look at Jin as her brother, she had no brotherly love for him, she liked him she had to admit that, he took great care of her and loved her with all his heart, sometimes she got a little guilty knowing she would abandon him, knowing he would fall into despair, if she did not know how things would go she might have accepted him but knowing what she knew made that impossible, if he thought she wanted to go on land he would cage her up and never let her leave, he was a possessive king, she was absolutely sure he would not be able to change, at least not unless he was forced to. She learned what it meant to be a merman and mermaid, she could produce salt like the males, it was not even that hard, it was much easier for females to make salt than for males, she made her brother show her how to so she could use it for herself benefit. He also told her that when she would get older she would be able to sing and sire beasts to her, to kill or to mate, he was so eager giving her information not knowing that she was like a sponge getting as much information as she could, she always made it seem like she did not understand him fully and praised him for being all knowing, she spared no effort in praising him, since it worked so well. She had been worried he might be suspicious about all her inquiries but it did not seem so, she always look at him with her big stormy blue eyes, looking as innocent as a dove, no one would ever imagine her being as intelligent as she was, she kept it hidden well for her own protection. Her brother did not like to show her to the other merman's but she had seen a few, she had even seen Bluepool, she had to admit he was almost as handsome as her brother, she smiled at him whenever she saw him, calling him Blue, much to his delight.

Her brother had taken her to the surface after begging him to see how it looked like. He always made sure to travel with his army when she was swimming with him, nothing could happen to their princess. The first time she went to the surface they had not been close to land, she made sure to ask her brother if everything was like this, was there only sea everywhere and he told her no, he told her there was land and there she could see all kind of nature, she made sure to look at him with excitement in her eyes pleading to see how it look liked, Jin could never say no to her so he took her near land, it was just as she had imagined, beautiful, she saw woods, flowers, greenery, stones and the beach, she wanted so badly to explore but she also knew that she could not be too greedy, her brother would surly not allow it, at least not yet. They swam near shore and that's when she saw beasts, she saw a leopard playing on the shore, he was playing with a bear cub and they seemed to be having fun. She watched them intently, she was curious who the leopard cub was, she hoped it was not Parker, she really disliked him, she hoped it was Harvey. Her brother watched her watching the cubs, he could feel the jealousy rising up but before he could say anything Qin told him that he was the most handsome man she had ever seen much cuter than those land beasts, she just told him that she was excited since they were small like her, maybe they would like to play but her brother was quick to shut that down, he would never let her play with anyone he did not know and least of all no land beasts. Qin could see the cubs staring at her, she smiled and waved at them, saying hello, that was enough for her brother to go back under the sea, Qin did not mind at all, she had gained new knowledge, she knew it was summertime now and she knew how far she was from land, she would be able to reach land here when she escaped. She was very happy. She loved swimming in the sea with her brother, her dolphin was one of her closest friend, she still could not understand her but her brother told her that after she morphed she would be able to understand her fully, still they played and swam together.

Her brother showed her all kind of beasts that could harm her, he mainly did it since she had asked him if something happened and she was alone whom should she be afraid of, her brother was so glad she had asked since he wanted her to be and feel safe. He showed her all kind of beasts that could morph and were dangerous, he could show her the beasts by bringing the images of them into her mind, since he was the king of the mermen clan he had more powers than most other beasts. He also told her that she would be able to have a little magic of her own, still she would have to train to be able to use it and he had not been ready to show her how, she was not sure he would since she felt her magic might work on him, she would not let that stop her though but she would not train yet, not until she would leave, she might give off some kind of aura and let her brother know, it was not safe, better to play stupid and cute since it had worked like a charm.

She liked pretty things so her brother brought her the most beautiful pearls he could find, she made all kinds of jewellery out of it, hair accessories, necklaces, bracelets and ankle bracelets. She had never been able to own nice things in her old life, now she could really have what she wanted, it truly was nice.
When she was Svava she had been just normal, a little too thin since it was very expensive buying quality food, her face was full of acne because of the dirty food she ate but she could not be considered ugly nor beautiful, just average, now she was like a porcelain doll, her skin was delegate and white as pearls, her lips were full and her nose was cute as a button. She was the lovelies child she had ever seen, she could not wait until she would grow up, she was going to be a ladykiller, she was excited just thinking about it, she had never been in a relationship, she had never been lusted after or loved, she had always wanted to be wanted and she knew with her looks and her mind she would make that happen, she would take good care of her mates that would be enough for them to idolise her, if this was a competition between her and Bai she was going to win, she would not let that annoying brat win, she could not wait to become an adult but until then she would do what she could and charm anyone she met.
