Winston had been updated of the leopard, he had been watching the clueless leopard, wondering what his motives were, he seemed like a gentle and kind beasts but Winston was old enough to know that looks can be deceiving. He has orders from Bard, he was not too concerned though, what could he want, he was not a feral but his family might be held hostage or his female so that might be the reason for his stalking, still he did not imagine what the leopard was thinking, did he really think he could get any informations from the tiger castle, it was highly unlikely and stupid but he just watched him from a far for two days hoping to get a clue what the leopard was looking for. Muir was watching the leopard like a hawk from air, he had killer eyesight and he was almost as quick as the wind, he was ready to take him down if he needed, he just needed to wait for the signal.

Bard was watching from a far curious what that measly leopard wanted, he was no threat so why not just ask for audience and tell them what your looking for, he had never seen that leopard before but his scouts told him that he was a healer from Camel Hump, it was a mid size village not so far from the city, nothing special about it at all, the thing that was most baffling to him was what did a healer from that village need anything from anyone in the tiger castle, it was not anything to do with healing Bard was sure of it, he really wanted to know, something told him it might be useful for him to find out.

Poor Harvey thought he had been successful being low key, he used the same tree to lie down at every day, lounging, waiting to see if he would see Winston or hear any stories of where he might be. He was getting desperate, it had already been a few days and he was sure poor Qin was getting anxious, he really did not want to fail her, he just wanted to meet this Winston and hurry back to Qin, he wondered if she was starting to miss him or was she too preoccupied with Curtis to even care about him, he felt a little disheartened but he was quick to shake it off, she had chosen him so she regarded him as useful to her, he just hoped he would be of use to her as long as possible, he liked being near her, she filled his heart with joy and fun, there was always something new she told him and he was fascinated by but when he asked her how she had learned it she always went silent and looked at him with those innocent eyes and asked to pet his ears, she liked his ears and he liked her petting him so all his questions were always forgotten as soon as she pampered him, still he did not mind, she would open up to him when she was ready, he could wait.

Winston looked at the leopard lying under the tree utterly clueless of how many beasts were watching him, he had had enough of lurking around him, there was nothing happening and he did not see anyone, he just laid there under the tree everyday and left late at evening, he was ready for some answers. Winston stalked him from behind, moving slowly, getting ready to pounce on the poor innocent Harvey, when he was close enough he jumped at him and showed his dominance, Harvey was quick to surrender showing his neck, Winston morphed and watched him with no emotion showing whatsoever. He told the leopard to morph and state his business. Harvey had no idea what was happening, he had not been ready for the sneak attack, for a second he thought his life was about to end but it seemed the tiger he had been waiting for, just wanted to scare him. He morphed back, he was unsure how to begin, he had failed his assignment, he was scared he had ruined everything for Qin so he looked at Winston with desperation. Winston told him he wanted answers now. Harvey looked at him and told him in a hushed voice that he had been looking for him. Winston had no idea what that leopard wanted with him, he had never met him nor had he any interest in knowing him, after all the trouble this leopard had caused him. Winston asked him if his family was in danger or if a feral had snatched his female. Harvey was quick to nod no, he asked if anyone could hear them, since he did not want anyone else to know what he was about to say. Winston scanned the area, there were a few beasts watching but they were too far away to hear unless they would speak loudly and Muir could not hear anything that far in the air, so he told him what he wanted to say he could without anyone knowing. Harvey hesitated, wondering how best to begin but he just decided to tell him that he had a message from a certain blue haired female cub, Winston did not answer, the first thing he thought about was the beautiful little mermaid in the arms of a merman heading to the sea. Winston was suspicious, how would this no stripe leopard know anything of the mermaid cub, she was well protected by her clan and had no contact with beasts on land, he felt rage filling his veins, he imagined the poor cub being stolen by ferals and this leopard had watched and done nothing, he wanted to smack the life out of him but before he could use his fists, Harvey told him that the female had told him to say that a certain blue haired female cub that thought he was cute said hi. Winston stopped in his track, he was at lost for words but that was nothing new since he had always been a beast of few words. He asked Harvey to explain so he told him the long story, about the feral attack, the crab that had almost stolen her, the feral who had saved her after she had been injured, then the feral had fetched him to heal her. Harvey told him that her name was Qin and that she did not want to go to the ocean again, she had been caged there and she wanted more than that.

Winston still could not figure out how he was involved in any of this so Harvey told him that the feral and him were her guardian beasts but she needed more, he told him that the other feral was a very powerful snake that would hibernate and when he would do that she had no one else to protect her. Harvey told him she really wanted to meet him but she had asked him to be discreet since she could not afford having her brother know that she was alive and where she was. Winston felt excited, he had thought about that blue haired little mermaid everyday since he had seen her, she never went far from his mind, he had to admit he desperately wanted to meet her and without knowing anything he was ready to say yes, he could just feel that it was something he was supposed to do.

Harvey asked who else knows about him stalking and Winston told him quite a few, all the kings knew but Bard was the one that showed the most interest. Harvey did not seem pleased with that news, Qin had told him that Bard was very dangerous and that he could not know about her at all cost, Harvey told him what Qin had said and Winston felt the same way, that ape was not as he seemed, he was too intelligent for his own good but how would he be able to make him loose interest. Winston thought for a  while, Harvey was immersed in thought too, they were both trying to come up with a solid solution that would make everyone loose interest in the leopard and his coming. Harvey thought of an idea but he was not sure if it was good enough. He said to Winston if they would tell everyone that he had come to Winston for help to get an emerald, to be able to offer a female he desired, instead for his help Harvey would be able to heal his scar instead, Winston thought it was ridiculous, who would ever believe such a lie but it was crazy enough to make someone wait days to meet someone, hoping to make a trade, it was so stupid that it might just fool Bard.

Winston told him he would talk to Bard and the tiger king and ask for a leave until the snake had come back from hibernation, then he could go to the city and work like usual. They arranged meeting by the city gate later in the day, Winston had to lie his ass of, he just hoped the ape would not see through his lies or try to see his future. Winston went to the tiger king first and there was Bard waiting as well, he had not been able to wait, so little exciting things happen in the city so it did not take much to get his interest, especially when it was so strange. Winston told the story Harvey had told him with a straight face, Winston was not one to show emotion so his lie sounded believable when he told it. Bard was excited when he heard him talking about stones, he wanted as many stones as he could get his hands on, he was greedy for power and strength and best to improve without a lot of work was with the stones. Winston could read the ape easily but he was not going to hunt and give him any not unless they would bard, he had never liked him, he was a very dangerous beast. Bard encouraged him to hunt for stones, he hinted that the tiger king needed more stones for emergency, they had far too few to spare, Winston said nothing, just nodded his head and told him he would be off hunting the next few months. Bard was glad to see him leave, hoping he would come back with many stones that would end up in his hands. After Winston left Bard left to his home and asked to see Muir, he asked Muir to follow Winston without being seen, he had a feeling that something was a miss with his story and Muir was just the right bird to gather more information for him.
