Morphing

Qin was finally eight years old and she was so excited, she would be able to morph any day now, her brother had barely left her side, wanting to be there when she would finally hit her milestone. Still she kept on as usual, she swam with her brother and her dolphin, she kept making all kinds of baskets, she knew she would not be able to take them with her but still she kept on since she tried her best to make them better.

She was always in her mind, imagining how she would look like as a mermaid, how would her body look like, would her scale be colourful or dull, would her hand change and would her hands be sharp as claws, she was so excited to find out, she also was excited to see if her face would change at all, she thought of all the stories she had read about mermaids, where they either beautiful as sin or did they look like monsters, she hoped she would still be beautiful, she had become a little vain since entering Qin body, it was thrilling being someone else, especially someone who looked like Qin, she was delighted to have been able to transmigrate into this novel, she would make a lot of changes and she had to admit she would like to snatch the female lead from Bai but she had no idea if she could, She did not know even if the story had started, maybe Bai had already entered the story and taken all her beasts, she got annoyed just thinking about it, she hoped with all her heart she was not too late, she was anxious, she felt like she had to hurry so that she would not loose the mates she wanted to have as her own. Since transmigrating here she had fantasies about how her life would be like with the mates she wanted and it was always like a romantic fairytale, she wanted to make it her reality, if she lost them to Bai would she even be able to find beasts strong and good enough to cherish her and protect her, she wished she could will herself to morph.

Maybe it was her anxiety to grow but one day she felt her feet tingling, it started off small, it was not painful but uncomfortable as the hours grew by the tingling changed to pain, she felt pain in her feet, hands and mouth, she was a little scared and she did not like feeling the pain, she had wanted show her brother she was strong and that she could endure it by herself but she had never in her life been in so much pain, she was scared and anxious, she called out to her brother crying, he came in running with Blue on his tail, she told them it hurt so much, she was crying pleading for him to make it stop, when she had imagined herself morphing she had never thought it could be painful, her brother had not warned her about it, still she could not think of that now, both Blue and Jin encouraged her, telling her how brave she was, Jin took her in his arms very carefully and told her it would be easier for her to morph in the sea, she pleaded for him to hurry she could not stand the pain any longer, Jin moved fast with Blue on his tail, it did not take him long to enter the cave to enter the sea, he carefully entered the ocean, still holding her in his arms,, he was cooing her, trying to make her relax, Qin could feel his chest vibrate, it felt very nice, it was so soothing and she really felt like the pain was not as bad as before, he still held her, whispering to her not to resist and let her body take control, it would be much easier to morph if she did. Qin focused on her breathing, trying not to think of the pain, she tried to not think of anything and relax, it was hard and painful and the process took such a long time, after a while her mind finally went black, she closed her eyes just focusing on breathing, she did not witness her morphing, she could only think about to endure, after a while the transformation was complete, she was finally a real mermaid, she looked at her tail, it was such a beautiful tail, it had all the colours of the rainbow but mostly it was pink, she was very surprised she had thought it would be green, blue or even black, her brothers fin was nothing like her nor was any of the other merman's, still she liked it, it looked beautiful, her hand had changed, she had skin between her fingers, she thought it must be to help her swim better, she liked it, her nails were like claws, not exactly like she had imagined but close enough, her teeth's were razor sharp also so she would be able to hunt and protect herself to some degree, she was really happy about it, she looked at her brother, all smiles, Blue and Jin were just as amazed as Qin was, no other female mermaid had had her colours, she was spectacular, one of a kind, they were both so thankful she was theirs, she was such a lovely female, beautiful on the inside and out, before they could praise her, Qin wanted to compete, she wanted to race so that is what they did, she had to get used to swimming with the tail but it was nowhere near swimming with her legs, she loved her fin, she could swim so fast, it was thrilling, she was laughing and smiling like a silly fool, she hoped this feeling would never go away, it was just wonderful. Jin and Blue let her win, even thought they could have easily won, they wanted nothing more than for her to keep smiling and be happy. She squealed happily that she won, she had no idea they had let her win, her confidence was all over the place, she was so proud of herself. She swam around them playing catch me if you can it was so much fun, after a little time her dolphin came, she was quick to swim towards her and snuggle her like she used to, she could not understand what he said like she had thought she would but she could understand how he felt and what she wanted, it was such a wonderful feeling that she had tears running, it was all so overwhelming but at the same time just incredible. She played with her dolphin for a while, she could connect with her on a deeper level now, the dolphin could now sense her love and wants just like she did, since she opened the connection, it was just the best day ever.

She pleaded with her brother to let her swim again to the land, she told him she wanted so much to see the trees again, she had talked a lot about the trees ever since she had seen the land, she would ask him if they had trees in the sea, she knew they did not but she wanted him to know how ignorant she was and how much she liked the trees, she thought he was likelier to let her go to the shore if she liked something like the scenery. Jin was in a very good mood, his mate had finally morphed and was one step closer to grow up. He wanted to indulge her, she had been so diligent today, the day had been so hard on her and he wanted to give her something for all her pain. He called his clan and they swam all together to the same spot as before but now Qin could keep up and swim side by side to Jin, she smiled at him all they way there, thanking him for making this day one of the best days in her life, it was truly a day she would never forget, all these words made Jin a happy merman, he loved to make her happy, it was so easy to give her what she wanted since he could trust her with all his heart, there was nothing he would not do to make her happy, nothing except for ever letting her go.

They finally reached the land, Qin was so excited she pleaded with her brother to let her walk to shore and touch the trees, she knew how to beg and since Jin was secure and happy he told her that they would go to shore, Qin looked around, she did not see anyone, she did not know if she was happy or disappointed about it but still she was finally going to touch the land, she was so excited, she swam to shore all the way in her mermaid form, she did not know how to change back so she just kept swimming until she had to crawl, her brother took her into his arms and carried her in her mermaid form. He put her down on the beach and told her what to do to morph again, he held her hand telling her it would not be painful but it would be uncomfortable, she just had to do as before, focus on her breathing and think of nothing, it took some time, since she was new to this all but finally she morphed into her human form, she stood up, smiling, she hugged her brother, thanking him for being so kind to her. She walked towards the trees, scanning the area, she did not see a soul in sight, only the beach and forest. She touched the tree, the tree was huge and reminded her of an oak tree, maybe it was oak but she was not sure, still it was a lovely tree, she liked to touch things to experience things so she touched everything she wanted to explore, she was quick to tell her brother how awesome everything was and how she wished theses things existed in their home, Jin just smiled happy to see her happy. A certain feral had been watching, he could easily conseal himself. He looked at the cub fascinated, she was a mermaid, and such a beautiful female, he had never seen a mermaid before but there had been stories told about a beautiful cub mermaid, waving towards land beasts, a lot of beasts had been on that shore for years hoping to be able to see her, she was famous, stories of her appearance had even reached the beast city, she was much lovelier than the stories had acclaimed and he had never thought the stories were true but here she was, in all her beautiful glory and he wanted that female all to himself.

Sorry i wanted to write about her morphing first before she would escape, she will escape in the next chapter.
