Arriving in the village

Little input, im rather sick, so sorry if this is not good enough, I'll edit it better after i feel better.

They did not stop long in that cave, since they still had a long travel ahead of them. Qin felt much better after she morphed to her mermaid form, so she did not need to have the ointment put as Harvey did before. Harvey just lathered her up and then helped her to get on Muir back, it was decided that Muir would travel to their final destination since the village was safe enough, Curtis, Winston and Harvey would most likely reach the destination within two to three days. Qin had been a little worried only having Muir but Curtis had melted all her fears, he had been to the village before and he knew it was safe enough,since no one knew that she was coming she would be okay so long as Muir never left her side.

It was much easier to travel on Muir back now that she could move, she had peed as much as she could before they left and made sure not to drink much, the weather was not too hot so she should manage until the evening. Qin liked to travel in the air, it was exhilarating, she felt like the queen of the skies, she laughed loudly and asked Muir to go even faster, she wondered if she would ever be able to make him dive with her, she was sure that would be such a thrill. While Qin was having the time of her life in the air, Winston and Curtis moved as fast as they could. Harvey was going to run but Curtis just snatched him into his arms and told him to be still, he told him to relax now since after they would reach their destination, he would have to train hard, Harvey knew he was right but that did not mean he was looking forward to it.

Muir had thought they would be able to reach the village before night but they had not been that lucky, they arrived in the dead of night. There were a few beasts guarding the village, they got ready to defend the village when they saw the little female cub come down from the eagles back. She smiled at them and said hello, no one said anything, they were all so stunned, they had never seen such a beautiful cub and all the peacocks envied the eagle having such a  good looking cub. Muir morphed to his human form and asked if he and the cub could have a hut to rest for tonight. There were always plenty of huts available in most villages since a lot of beasts moved or just died. The strongest peacock decided to lead the way, he wanted to help to impress the cub. He asked if it mattered the size of the hut, Muir told him no, he told him that three other males would be arriving soon and they would build their own hut but it would be good if they could stay in that hut until their home was ready. Peacock told him that was no problem. Qin smiled at him and told him thank your, she pretended to be shy, since she knew that was a cute look, just looking at the cub could almost melt the peacocks eyes out, she was like nothing he had ever seen, he had never seen female as attractive as that cub, he could only imagine how she would look like when she would be grown, he hoped he would be able to see her grow up.

The hut he showed them had not been used in a long time so it was rather filthy but it would do. He asked if they needed help tidying up but Muir told him no, he did not want to owe any more favours than that, who knew what this peacock might want, the bird went away with his head down, he was hoping to impress the female a little more but hopefully he would be able to have another chance.

Qin started to clean up while Muir went and got firewood, it was cold outside and the hut was not that good, still it would do, Qin just hummed a little song while cleaning up, she liked to have clean environment so she did the best she could do, she would make a broom as soon as she could to make it easier, for now she did the best that she could with the things she had. While Muir was out the peacock came back, he had hurried back to his home to find something to eat for the cub, he was certain they would be hungry after a long travel, he knew he had little time since the bird would not go far nor be too long gathering wood. He knocked lightly at the door so he would not scare the cub, Qin opened the door and saw the bird, she smiled like an angel at him and greeted him again, he gave her the meat he had gotten for himself. Qin was so hungry that when she saw the meat she could not help but to smile even wider, she could have kissed him, since she knew Muir would not be able to hunt at this time, he put his hard earned meat into her hands and told her to eat it, she again told him thank you and told him she would give him a gift in return, the peacock was over the moon, the little cub wanted to give him a present, he told her there was no need but Qin was adamant, there was no free lunches where she was from. He was just about to leave when Qin asked for his name, he told her his name was Máni, she liked that he did remind her of the moon, she waved him goodbye, he walked away feeling proud and very happy.

When Muir came back he was the meat, he was not happy but Qin told him she had barter with the bird, she would make him a beautiful accessory for the meat, Muir was not happy but still he did not take the meat away, he knew she should be starving and thirsty, he had inquired to where to get clean water and he had been given pot to fetch water, he told Qin to wait just a little while so he could fetch her water to drink. He was quick to return, who knew who would come knocking again, trying to impress Qin. Qin was very hungry, thirsty and tired so when he gave her water he gulped it down, she took the deer meat the Máni had given her and gave Muir half of it, she knew he must be very hungry too, he had been flying all day, he tried to say no but Qin would not let him so he ate the meat with a warm heart, after they had eaten Muir morphed into his eagle form for Qin, they only had one fur to lie on so it was not that comfortable, Muir put her on his back and there she slept like and angel, warm, cozy and safe.
