Warning

Pangiti-ngiti si Primo habang pabalik sa kanilang bahay. He usually finds walking from the main entrance to their house a tedious task since it's a long distance walk... but now, he doesn't mind.

He was whistling while walking and couldn't help but admire how bright the starlit sky was. Huli niya na lang napansin na nasa harapan na siya ng bahay.

The living room was well-lit and all the chandeliers were on, which only means one thing: his mother is here. Magkasama sila buong araw kanina at alam niyang wala sa plano ng ina na pumunta rito.

"Primo!" Hearing that familiar voice was a mental trigger that caused the fury and bitterness to resurface.

His eyes darkened as he turned to Cleo who was approaching. The resentment and disbelief he's feeling intensified, especially because the person responsible for Miara's sudden disappearance was smiling... it was as if nothing happened.

He expected her to be sorry, at least. But Cleo's expression doesn't have anything to do with remorse. She looks nonchalant.

"What the fuck were you thinking?" He couldn't contain his anger anymore.

Every time the image of Miara feeling hopeless and trapped at that beach appears in his mind, a surge of protectiveness and disdain envelopes his chest.

Protectiveness for Miara and disdain to the person who placed her in that situation.

He wasn't the one who found her at the beach so he can only imagine her pain and discomfort. What's worse is that what she felt and experienced is surely worse than what he can imagine.

"Primo!" He wasn't surprise to hear his mother's voice. He already expected her to be on Cleo's side.

Until now, he still can't understand what her mother sees in Cleo. When they were still together, it's unquestionable. But now...

"No, Mom, I stayed silent long enough... but I won't let this one pass," he toned himself down as he faced his mother. But that less-harsh facade only lasted until he turned back to Cleo.

"Why the fuck did you do that?" He asked sharply, his frustration and anger are now to the extremes.

Among his siblings, he's the one who's always composed. Their Achi Steffana is graceful and easygoing. She can be serious and quiet like him but never as reserved as him.

Ciara, on the other hand, is the opposite of their Achi. She's bubbly, energetic, chatty, and always enthusiastic with everything. She has unwavering optimism and warmth, like a kid who's left in a playground.

And then there's Tommy. If he's at the presence of someone he looks up to, he's as quiet, reserved, and serious like Primo. But that's only because he's trying to be mysterious. The truth is he's just like Ciara. Active and easygoing too.

Among the four them, Primo is the least expected to throw a fit. Or to use profanity in heated situations. During discussions and arguments, he's always composed and open-minded. He listens to the opposing side to understand. Not for the sake of rebuttals.

He uses logic in difficult situations. He thinks and strategizes. He never once intentionally used fallacious statements in arguments nor did he let his emotions master his words.

Until now.

Until Cleo decided to put out a threat.

"No, sorry! Hindi ko sinasadya—"

He felt disbelief on what he heard. "You intentionally left her there tapos hindi mo sinasadya? That's not a fucking reason! That's not even an excuse? What? Don't tell me your car ran on its own and you just happened to chase it down the road until you reached here?"
