Hi! Unlike the stories in Heartbreak Series, writing Miara's Mistakes wasn't part of my plans. I remember myself doing one of Chloe Ting's home exercises way back in 2020 while my mind was thinking about a story where I could write and make the pandemic as the setting of the story—this is where Miara's Mistakes started.
I had a lot of frustrations (and rants); words I wanted to say and scream but had no avenue to do so. I admit, writing this story was fun but also confusing. At some point, I had to ask myself where the story is going because I really didn't have a fixed plot for it lol. But to tell you (whoever is reading this hahaha) the truth, Primo ended up being my favorite character huhu. What's even better is that the same way Miara found comfort in the Pei cousins, I did too. Isa and Ali, on the other hand, were inspired from the two girlypops who serve the same role in my life the way they did to Miara's—unexpected friendship.
Supposedly, I planned on writing a different story from another series but... change of plans! I will publish the next story tomorrow and I hope to see you there hihi. (Any guesses kung kaninong story na?)
I hope we all find our own Isa, Ali, Pei cousins, and Primo... (and be the Isa, Ali, Pei cousins, and Primo to others too!). Although unplanned, writing this story brought me so much comfort and warmth, and I hope reading it has impacted you the same way it did me. <3
