Primo's POV
Price

Miara and I left for Bacolod early in the morning. Her seat was reclined and she was asleep the whole trip. And from time-to-time, I would glance at her.

She looks so peaceful and carefree, which is surprising given what happened. I thought she wouldn't act the way she does lately—cheerful, lively, and energetic. It's either she's good at hiding or she's just not that affected.

And I'm hoping that the reason is the latter. It would be better that she's actually unaffected rather than her hiding things... keeping everything on her own.

I've been observing her, trying to decipher each word and nonverbal cues, but... I don't think she's having secret meltdowns because of what Cleo did.

"Nandito na ba tayo?" I turned to her when she spoke.

She's right and we just arrived at the hotel. I just parked the car and I was about to wake her up. But it's better that she woke up on her own or I might've just spent the time admiring her face while she's asleep.

Miara has these features that can be considered as provocative—prominent cheekbones, full lips, well-kept hair that sways effortlessly every time she moves, and a set of magnetic eyes that never fails to enthrall me.

It's like she's trying to read me with her bewitching yet innocent stares. Sometimes, I feel like she's subtly teasing me, but it turns out she's not. That's just really how her normal gaze looks like.

"Yes, we're here," I answered with a smile, then leaning forward to kiss the small moles on her cheek.

She frowned at me. I know that she's not actually mad or frustrated. She does that cute frown of her while squinting her eyes every time she wants to point something out. It's usually not that serious that I should be worried.

"You like kissing my moles!" Puna niya at mas ngumuso pa. "Paano naman 'to? Should I add a fake mole here too?" She pointed at her lips before bursting into laughter.

"Nah, no need." I shook my head and leaned in towards her again.

I held the side of her face and gently guided her head. Her lips are addictively soft... and inviting... but as much as I want to indulge in her kisses all the time, I try to stop myself.

Since then, I knew that intimacy is more than just a physical touch. It's just a cherry on top for me. But with Miara... damn... I can't get enough, which is why I restrain myself. Mahirap tumigil kapag nasimulan na... just like now.

She was already panting, my cue to pull away. And as expected, she looked away. Every time we kiss, she couldn't look at me in the eyes afterwards.

I gently guided her face just so she'll face me again. Why is she shy now, huh? She was so aggressive a few seconds ago and even gave me a hard time when she playfully teased her tongue into my mouth.

And there goes her palusot.

She went out of the car first and took our bags from the backseat. I sensed that she'll run with our bags so before she could even take a step, I blocked her way.

I wore her backpack and held my duffel bag while my other hand is in her waist.

After checking in, we ordered room service for our food. After our short meal, I changed into a semi-formal attire for our meeting.
