As the chaos unfolded before her eyes, a wave of disbelief washed over her. Tears welled up, mingling with the shattered traces of her efforts. She felt a mix of anger and sadness, unable to comprehend how quickly everything had unfolded.

The once peaceful ambiance of the room was now filled with the echoes of destruction. With trembling hands, she examined the wreckage, struggling to come to terms with the abrupt end to her carefully laid plans.

She stood amidst the wreckage, a heavy silence enveloped the room, broken only by the faint sound of shattered pieces of all underfoot. Her heart sank with each broken piece, mirroring the shattered fragments of her hopes for the perfect evening. The air felt thick with disappointment, each broken dish a painful reminder of his reckless act.

She couldn't shake the feeling of betrayal, wondering how he could carelessly destroy the love and effort she had poured into every detail. In that moment, the once vibrant atmosphere was replaced by a somber realization of irreparable damage.

"Jungkook, how could you..." she attempted to say, but her throat and chest began to ache. Tears welled up in her eyes as she gazed at the person standing before him. The person she loved wholeheartedly had done this to her.

"JUST STOP WITH YOUR THESE BULLSH!TS, Y/N!" Jungkook yelled, causing her to flinch as he kicked the shattered crockery across the room. Y/n closed her eyes, her body trembling. She never imagined something like this could happen.

The events unfolding around her triggered flashbacks of her past, recalling how her parents used to fight. His yelling echoed her dad's, giving her a sense of déjà vu. Her eyes welled up with tears, a mix of hurt and anger overwhelming her.

Finally fed up with his behavior, she yelled back, "YOU CALL ALL THIS A BULLSH!T, JUNGKOOK?" But his expression remained unchanged. "Yes, Y/n, if not bullsh!t, then what do you call it?" he chuckled. Her heart shattered; she realized how naive she was to think he'd feel guilty about his actions.

"Do you realize how long it took me to prepare all this for us, and you destroyed everything in a blink of an eye? And on top of that, instead of feeling guilty, you're just..." she started, but he cut her off abruptly with a blank expression.

"So?" he interjected.

"What did you expect me to do, Y/n? Huh? Did you think that all this you're doing would make me happy? That I would praise you? That I would thank you for doing all this for me?" he said, crushing her last hope with his words. Her eyes filled with painful tears caused by his venomous words, and she continued to stare at him with a pale face.

Y/n's voice trembled as she responded, "I thought... I thought maybe you would appreciate the effort. That you would see I'm trying to make things better for us. For you."

Jungkook scoffed, the bitterness in his tone evident. "You're delusional, Y/n. You can't fix what's already broken. And you certainly can't fix me."

Tears welled up in Y/n's eyes as she struggled to find her voice. "I just wanted... I just wanted to make you happy, Jungkook. Is that too much to ask?"

His gaze turned cold as he replied, "Happiness is a luxury I can't afford. And neither can you, if you keep clinging to false hopes."

Y/n felt her heart shatter into a million pieces, her chest tightening with the weight of his words. She had poured her soul into trying to please him, only to be met with indifference. As tears blurred her vision, she struggled to comprehend how the person she loved could be so dismissive of her efforts.

"How could a person be so cruel, Jungkook? I did everything I could, everything for you, and yet..." she trailed off, her chest tightening and tears welling up in her eyes.

"I never asked you to do all this for me, Y/n, so why are you making a fool of yourself? I already told you not to expect anything from me, so why are you wasting your time doing all these things?" he retorted.

"Because I wanted to help you regain your former self. I wanted to change you and help you overcome your past. And I did everything without thinking about myself for a moment," she explained.

"Don't talk about my past or myself in the past, Y/n. You know nothing about it, so stop pretending," he snapped, causing her more hurt and pain. Jungkook didn't know that Y/n knew about his past. She had planned to tell him everything tonight, along with her feelings for him, but he ruined everything.

He ruined everything again. Y/n had been bearing everything strongly from the beginning, but now she's tired. He crossed his limits, causing her deep pain.

"I'm not acting, Jungkook. It's you who doesn't take anyone's feelings seriously. You only care about yourself and never about anyone else. I'm tired of being the only one trying to make things work between us, Jungkook. You always make me feel like my efforts are worthless. I keep hoping you'll change, but you just keep breaking my heart. It feels like I'm just being foolish by staying with you despite everything," she murmured, her tears staining her cheeks.

Each word she spoke was a battle cry, a desperate plea for him to see beyond his own desires and acknowledge the pain he had inflicted. But with each passing moment, that hope dimmed, suffocated by the weight of disappointment and unfulfilled promises.

She was lost in these thoughts, but her mind went blank as her breathing hitched and the world around her seemed to blur when she heard his next sentence.

"What's stopping you then, Y/n? Just leave me forever."
