"So, you married me because of my past, not because you loved me?" Jungkook's words cut through the air like a knife. Y/N felt her heart sink as she processed his accusation. It felt like the ground beneath her was crumbling away, leaving her stranded in a sea of uncertainty. Her mind raced, searching for the right words to explain, to reassure him of her love.

"No, Jungkook, it's not like that," she pleaded, her voice trembling with emotion. "I married you because I saw beyond your past. I married you because I fell in love with who you are today, not your past."

But even as she spoke, she saw the doubt flickering in his eyes, and it tore at her heart. She reached out to him, desperate to bridge the growing chasm between them. "Please, Jungkook, believe me," she implored, her voice cracking with emotion. But instead of responding, he just walked away.

"Jungkook," she called, following him, her heartbeat quickening. "Jungkook, please, at least listen to me," she said, her breathing becoming faint. But he didn't listen and kept walking. She followed him and saw him heading towards the car they had borrowed for their trip today.

She approached him and began, "Jung-" but before she could finish, he cut her off. "Just sit in the car, Y/n," he said, his expression straight and his tone cold. She felt her heart break, hearing his voice become as distant as it was at the beginning of their marriage. Her throat started to hurt.

"But at least-"

"Just sit in the car, Y/n. Please," he said, looking at her sharply, sending a shiver down her spine.

She didn't say anything further and just sat in the car. The whole ride was chilly and filled with tension. The cheerful and romantic atmosphere between them had turned cold and strained. After a while, they arrived at the hotel where they were staying. Jungkook got out of the car and headed towards the hotel, and Y/n quickly followed him. They took the elevator to their floor and entered their room. Before she could say anything to him, he said, "We're going back to Korea tomorrow, so be ready with your things." Then he went to the bedroom, leaving her alone in the hall with a shattered heart.

The next day, he didn't say anything to her or listen to her, no matter what she tried. After a few hours, they arrived home and opened the door. As they entered, Y/n finally got the chance to speak.

"Jungkook, please, at least listen to me one last time," Y/n said, grabbing his hands. Her heart ached when he turned around and she saw tears in his eyes. She gasped.

"What else do you have to say, Y/n?" he whispered softly.

"Jungkook, I-I want to tell..." she couldn't form her words, seeing his distress. Jungkook chuckled, leaving her confused.

"Now you have nothing to say? Of course not, because I already spoke the truth," he said, leaving her in shock.

"Jungkook, it's not like that."

"Then what is it, Y/n" he yelled, making her flinch. "Say it, Y/N. You married me because you felt bad and had sympathy for me, didn't you?" he said, causing her heart to ache.

"No, Jungkook, I didn't marry you just because of that. I never thought of you that way, please trust me," she said, reaching out to him, but he stepped back.

"No, Y/n, you're lying. You did this because you felt bad for me, because..." Jungkook stopped, his heart becoming heavier with emotions as he fought back tears.
