"I'm a little scared, Y/N," he admitted nervously. Y/N reassured him, saying,

"It's okay, Jungkook. Don't overthink it." "But what if he disowns me?" he asked, his expression turning shocked.

Y/N sighed, "You're exaggerating the situation, Jungkook. Just come outside," she said. Opening the car's door, she led him near his father's house gate and rang the bell. Jungkook tapped his feet nervously on the ground.

Y/N tried to comfort him, but he insisted, "We should really go, Y/N. I guess he isn't at home," and started to walk back. However, Y/N stopped him. "Jungkook, come on," she said, looking at him sternly. Jungkook made a face, but just then, his father opened the gate.

Jungkook met his father's gaze as they looked at each other. "Jungkook," his father whispered. Y/N murmured to Jungkook an apology and said to talk to his father. Jungkook was about to speak, but before he could, his father hugged him tightly, leaving him surprised.

"I thought I would never see you again, Jungkook. I thought I lost my son. I'm sorry for slapping you. Please forgive me," his father said softly, his tears soaking into Jungkook's shirt. He widened his eyes, realizing his father was crying.

Jungkook hugged him back and said, "No, Dad, it's not your fault. I should be sorry for saying those harsh things to you. I'm really sorry, Dad. I'm sorry." Tears began to form in Jungkook's eyes as he spoke.

"I'm sorry, Jungkook, for not giving you the love you longed for. I'm sorry for not trying to get close to you. I'm so sorry for not being there when you needed me the most. I'm sorry..." As his father whispered those words, Jungkook's heart ached seeing his father in so much pain.

Jungkook sobbed and said, "No, Dad, it wasn't your fault. I should've tried to get close to you, but I didn't. I was too busy thinking that you didn't love me. I should have tried to love you as much as I loved Mom, but I didn't. I'm so sorry..."

As they hugged each other and sobbed, tears filled Y/n's eyes as well, seeing them like that. After so many years, they finally shared their feelings with each other. They began to understand each other.

And tried to get closer, it was a moment of letting go of the past and embracing the present. And then, as if by unspoken agreement, they pulled Y/n into their hug, enveloping her in their love. In that moment, as the three of them held each other close, Y/n felt a sense of completeness wash over her. The family they had always dreamed of was finally coming together, united by love, understanding, and the shared desire to stay with eachother.

Time passed, and the next morning in Jungkook's and Y/n's house, Y/n was preparing to bake cookies in the kitchen. She brought all the ingredients to the counter and was about to reach for the flour, which was on a high cupboard but still within her reach. She raised her hands and tried to retrieve the box. Meanwhile, Jungkook, having just finished his shower and wrapped a towel around his waist, was heading towards his room. Suddenly, a mischievous idea popped into his head, and he smirked as he began to enter the kitchen.

As Jungkook entered the kitchen, he saw Y/n trying to lower the box of flour while balancing on the edge of her toes. Y/n's hands began to ache as she struggled to grasp the box, unable to fully hold it. Just as the box was about to slip from her hands, Jungkook came up behind her and caught it in his hands.

"Wow, thank God you came; it was about to fall," Y/n said, lowering her hands and taking a deep breath as she turned around. Her eyes widened, and her breath caught in her throat as she saw his bare chest fully on display. She cursed silently in her mind at the sight of those tattoos of his arms. She blinked a few times, unable to believe what she was seeing.

Jungkook noticed and chuckled, "Are you done staring at me, Mrs. Jeon?" he teased, bringing her out of her thoughts—or rather, wild thoughts. Clearing her throat, she said, "Mr. Jeon, don't you have any clothes? Why are you just in a towel?"

She said, avoiding eye contact with him, feeling a little embarrassed. He chuckled at her behavior and question and said, "Why? Does that make you feel things, Mrs. Jeon?" He teased her again.

Y/n replied, "Yes—, I mean no, like... I'm just saying, what if someone comes home out of the blue?"

She looked at him this time, and their eyes met. She forgot how to breathe as she realized the closeness between them. Their lips were merely inches apart. Jungkook looked straight into her eyes and then his gaze lifted from her eyes to her lips.

With the flour box still in his hand, he had trapped her between him and the cupboard. Y/n pressed her back against the cupboard, trying to maintain some distance, but she found him getting closer to her. As he leaned in towards her lips, she closed her eyes, ready for the kiss, but just as they were about to connect, the doorbell rang, shocking them both and causing all the flour to spill onto Jungkook.

"Oh no," Y/n exclaimed as Jungkook was covered from head to toe in flour. There was a brief silence between them until she started laughing."You look like a ghost, Jungkook. A beautiful, muscular ghost," she said, still laughing. Jungkook looked at her.

"Really? Wait, let me show you what this ghost is capable of doing," he said as Y/n choked on her saliva. He tried to approach her, but she ran away before he could catch her.

"Go get freshened up again first, Mr. Jeon, then you can try to catch me," she said, giggling, as she made her way towards the main door to open the gate. Jungkook winced inside the kitchen. Y/n opened the door and saw that it was Jungkook's father.

"Dad," she said, smiling at him, as his father smiled back. They both hugged each other, and breaking the hug, Y/n led him inside the house.

"I'll go get you some coffee, Dad. Take a seat till then," she said, as his father nodded, smiling, and was about to sit down. Meanwhile, Y/n headed towards the kitchen. She thought Jungkook had already gone to freshen up, but he emerged from the kitchen just then, still in a towel and covered with some white substance.

"Who's here so early, Y/n?" Jungkook asked as he came out of the kitchen, wiping his face. When he saw his father, his eyes widened in shock. He didn't know what to do, so he just stood there frozen, along with his dad and Y/n. Y/n widened her eyes and quickly covered his upper body with the apron she was wearing, smiling nervously.

"I think I came at the wrong time," his father said, as Jungkook mumbled, "Yeah, true."

Y/n lightly hit him from the side as Jungkook looked at her and made a pouty face. "Jungkook, just go get freshened up, will you?" she whispered, still smiling nervously. He sighed and said okay before leaving.

After that, Y/n quickly went to the kitchen while his father sat in the living room, and Jungkook went to freshen up. Y/n was making coffee in the kitchen when Jungkook, freshened up, went directly to the kitchen, telling his dad that he's helping her. He back hugged her and kissed her neck, causing her attention to drift off.

"Jungkook," she whispered softly, her eyes closed.

Jungkook hummed in response. "Go sit with your dad; I'll bring the coffee," she said. "Sure, but before that, I would like to complete my work that I couldn't do before," he said as she turned around, and he trapped her again between the counter and himself.

"What kind of work?" she asked, confused. He leaned closer to her and said, "This," as he moved towards her lips, but she stopped him.

"Jungkook, we can't do this right now," she said, but he asked, "Why?" with annoyance in his voice.

"Because Dad is in the living room," she explained, but he still didn't listen.

"He doesn't see us, so don't worry," Jungkook assured, but his assurance barely registered as her heart raced when he leaned in again. She could almost taste the sweetness of his lips before her rational mind kicked in.

She gently pushed him away, whispering, "Are you out of your mind, Jungkook? Dad is in the living room!"

Despite the risk, Jungkook held her gaze, his touch sending shiver down her spine, as he took her hand and pulled her closer. Their breathe mingled, their lips almost touching. He then whispered softly, making her lose her senses, his warm breath brushing over her face.

"Yes, I'm out of mind because you're the one who's always in it."
