After reading Y/n's note, Jungkook froze. His body seemed to stop functioning, overwhelmed with emotions. Seeing her words made him feel like his breath had been taken away. He wanted to scream, cry, and lash out, but all he could do was stand there, clutching the note, tears streaming down his face. He couldn't believe what he had just read.
"Did she really..." Jungkook whispered, barely audible, tears still flowing uncontrollably. Then realization struck him, and he began yelling, tossing the note aside.
"No, no, no, this can't be happening, Y/n, you can't leave me like this," he screamed between his cries as he searched every corner of the house, calling out her name. He couldn't believe she would leave him.
"Where could she go at this hour? This note must be a lie; Y/n didn't write this. How could she leave me when she loved me so much?" His desperation grew as he pleaded for her to come back.
"Y/n, where are you? I know you're here somewhere. Please, just show yourself. I'm sorry for everything. Please don't leave me," he sobbed, collapsing to his knees.
With each passing moment, he felt himself slipping into insanity. He never imagined such a thing could happen. If only he had known, he would have confessed his love for her long ago. He would have expressed everything he had been holding back. He realized now that in his pursuit of her happiness, he had forgotten that he was her happiness. He had pushed her away without realizing it.
Jungkook stood up abruptly, he can't lose her. He didn't even thanked her enough for coming into his life, for making him smile again, for making him believe in love again. He was completely broken, her words echoing in his mind. Despite her decision, she had still thought of him, that how courage it took her to do something like this. Running frantically, crying and screaming, he hoped to find her, to hear her voice, to feel her comforting presence once more. But she remained elusive, nowhere to be found.
Exhausted and trembling from excessive crying, Jungkook collapsed, his heart pounding, his body shaking with despair. Had he truly lost her? The thought tormented him, filling his mind with unbearable pain. Unable to do anything else, he sat down, his eyes falling on the note she had written for him. Clutching it tightly, he read it again and again, searching for any clue that might lead him to her.
After several readings, his blurry vision focused on a particular line: "And after I'm gone, if you ever think of me, I'll always be up there, just as I always am." "Up there..." he murmured, realization dawning upon him. Her room upstairs had already been checked thoroughly, leaving only one possibility - the rooftop.
"Rooftop..." Jungkook whispered, his mind racing with terrifying possibilities he desperately hoped weren't true. Without wasting a moment, he dashed from the living room towards the rooftop, his heart pounding with fear and regret. Negative thoughts consumed him, despite his efforts to stay positive.
"Please, Y/n, don't do anything," he pleaded as he ran, tears streaming down his face. "I need you, Y/n. I need you. I never got the chance to confess my love, to show you how much you mean to me. Please forgive me this time. I promise I won't do anything to upset you again. Just hang in there a little longer. Please, don't leave me alone in this world like my mother did. I can't bear the pain of losing someone again. Please, Y/n," he whimpered, his voice breaking with emotion.
As he ran, Jungkook couldn't shake the memories of his mother, how he had desperately cried out for her to stay, to not leave him alone in the world. The pain of that loss still haunted him, and now, facing the possibility of losing Y/n, it threatened to overwhelm him once again.
"Please, don't leave me, Y/n. I beg you, please," he pleaded, his words carried away by the wind as he raced towards the rooftop, praying that he would reach her in time.
