She spun around and faced the guy, who met her gaze and then shamelessly winked at her. Y/n didn't hesitate for a moment. She slapped him hard across the cheek, leaving it red and swollen. The guy winced in pain, placing his hand on his cheek.

"How dare you," he growled, attempting to move closer to her. Before he could take another step, Y/n swiftly kicked him in the lower part with her heel. He dropped to the floor, clutching his injured area and groaning in agony.

"How dare you do such a filthy act with me, you son of a cockroach!" Y/n yelled in anger. The guy was shocked; he had underestimated her, thinking she was weak. But in that moment, he realized he was mistaken. He struggled to get up and attempted to approach her again, raising his hand to slap her.

"You bit-" he started to say, but before he could finish, someone grabbed him by his tie and pulled him towards them—it was Jungkook. Jungkook delivered a hard slap across his cheek, causing him to tremble and fall to the floor.

Y/n gasped, seeing Jungkook in this light for the first time. Jungkook grabbed the guy's collar and demanded, "Is this how you treat women, Mr. Shin?" The guy looked at him nervously.

"No, sir, you've got it all wrong. She was the one trying to do in@ppropriate things with me. When I simply told her to stay in her limits, she started hitting me," he claimed. Jungkook's gaze turned even colder at his words.

Y/n gasped, "You... This bastard is lying he was the one trying to touch me in@ppropriately," she said, her eyes blazing with anger.

"No, sir, she's lying. Don't believe her," Mr. Shin insisted.

"Do you think I'm blind Mr. Shin? I saw everything with my own eyes," Jungkook retorted, gritting his teeth, sending a shiver down Mr. Shin's spine.

"But, sir--"

"Apologize," Jungkook interjected, his voice firm. Mr. Shin met his gaze, which was filled with rage. " Apologize to my wife right now," Jungkook demanded, causing Mr. Shin to tremble and widened his eyes at the mention of the word 'wife'. Without hesitation he quickly bowed down to the ground and apologized, "I'm so sorry, ma'am. Please forgive me. I'm really sorry." Y/n looked at him and scoffed," Get up, you're making me feel restless. Get lost," she said firmly.

"Does that mean you forgive me? Please forgive me. It was all my fault. I agree," he pleaded. Y/n and Jungkook both looked at him, and suddenly Y/n felt Jungkook grab her hand. She looked at him as he addressed Mr. Shin, "I don't want people like you in my company. Please don't hesitate and submit your resignation letter as soon as possible," Jungkook said and took her with him, leaving Mr. Shin crying and begging on the floor not to be fired.

"Sir, please don't do this. I'm sorry," he uttered, seeing them leave. Well deserved. Jungkook was literally dragging her with him, and Y/n was confused as though why he was acting that way. He quickly took her inside a room and locked it, making her stand in front of him.

"What are you doing here, Y/n?" he asked harshly, his tone tinged with frustration.

"Why are you speaking to me like this?" Y/n said, looking at him, standing still. Jungkook sighed, realizing his tone. "I'm sorry, it's just... forget it. Why are you here?" he asked. Y/n replied, lifting the lunch box, "Here, I brought lunch for you. You came without eating anything, so I came here with it." A smile appeared on her lips, only to be replaced with annoyance.

"I don't want to eat it," he said coldly. "Why?" Y/n asked, her gaze not leaving his.

"Just because. I just don't want to eat it, so take it with you," she felt frustrated and hurt now that instead of being thankful, he was acting this way. She placed the lunch box on a nearby table and uttered, "Fine, I'm leaving it here. Eat this food or throw it away. I don't care."

With those words, she quickly left, closing the door harshly, as he sighed, knowing he messed up everything even more. As Y/n left angrily, she couldn't help but wonder about Jungkook.

The way he was acting again made her feel uneasy and shattered her heart. After a long time, everything seemed to be getting better, but now it felt like they were stuck in a loop. Her eyes filled with tears as she wondered how long Jungkook would continue to treat her this way and avoid her. She was so lost in these thoughts that she didn't notice the car coming from the left side of the road as she crossed it. And before Y/n could see the approaching car...
