As the sun peeked into Y/n's bedroom, she rubbed her eyes and reached out, only to find the other side of the bed empty. Realizing she was alone, she opened her eyes wider and saw the vacant space beside her.

"Jungkook..." she whispered sleepily as she rose from bed and headed downstairs. About to enter his room, she heard noises from the kitchen. Hurrying there, she found him wearing an apron, skillfully cooking something that resembled art, even in the early morning light. Smiling, she entered the kitchen.

"Jungkook," she said softly, interrupting his focus on cooking.

"Oh, Y/n, you're awake. How are you feeling now?" Jungkook asked as he approached her.

"Yeah, I'm feeling much better now," Y/n replied.

"And the dizziness?" Jungkook inquired.

"That's better too," Y/n confirmed.

"That makes me happy. I'm glad," Jungkook said, his expression showing relief as Y/n nodded gently, smiling.

"By the way, are you making something?" Y/n asked as Jungkook checked on the dish he was preparing, with Y/n following him.

"Yup, breakfast for us. A veggie-packed omelette. It's the same dish my mom used to make whenever I used to get sick. It's full of veggies, which strengthen our bodies, so I thought to make it for you today," he explained, looking at her as they made eye contact. Y/n smiled.

"Your mom really raised a gentleman, I must say," she complimented. Jungkook giggled, flashing his bunny smile. "That's true, though," he agreed.

His love for his mother always amazed Y/n. Seeing how much he adored his mom made Y/n wonder just how wonderful Jungkook's mother must have been. Jungkook remembered her and cherished every memory, never forgetting her words or actions. Y/n knew Jungkook's past, including the fact that his mother had passed away, but Jungkook remained unaware that she knew. Despite wanting to discuss it with him, she waited for the right time, just like him, for when he felt ready to open up.

"No doubt. Well, aren't you going to the office today?" Y/n asked as Jungkook turned the stove flame low and replied, "How can I, Y/n? You're sick, so how can I leave you alone here and go to the office?"

This gesture made her heart flutter. She pressed her lips together, trying to contain her smile. Nodding, she said, "But won't that affect your important work?" Jungkook sighed and gently guided her to sit at the dinner table, taking a seat in front of her.

"You're more important to me than anything in this world, Y/n. And as for work, don't worry. I'm the boss, and I've trained my employees well. Plus, I've talked to my dad, and he's advised me not to stress about work but to take care of you. So, don't worry about anything else except your health, okay?" Jungkook said with a smile on his lips. Y/n felt deeply touched by his words and thoughts.

"God, he's so caring, it's unbelievable," Y/n thought to herself as she nodded, looking at him with a smile.

"Okay, I'll focus on my health," Y/n replied. Jungkook smiled sweetly and then stood up from the chair to check the dish he was preparing. He tasted it, spooning some into a bowl. "Hmm... it's great," he mumbled, impressed by the taste.

"Is it?" Y/n said, standing up from the chair and approaching him. "Yup," Jungkook confirmed.

"Lemme taste it too, then," she said, and before Jungkook could react, she went close to him and ate from the same spoon he had used.

"Wow, it's indeed so yummy," Y/n complimented, savoring the taste of the dish.

Jungkook's breath caught as he realized the closeness between them and how she had eaten from the same spoon as him. His eyes widened, and he accidentally choked on the dish.

"Jungkook, are you okay?" Y/n asked, rubbing his back.

"Let me bring some water," she said, quickly fetching a glass and handing it to Jungkook after he recovered.

"Yeah, I'm okay. That just happened suddenly," Jungkook replied, still a bit flustered.

"Are you good now?" Y/n asked, concern evident in her eyes. Jungkook nodded.

"I'm alright. The dish will be ready in a minute, so you can go take a shower," he suggested.

Y/n agreed and went to her room, flashing a beautiful smile before leaving.

"God, that smile of hers," Jungkook muttered, placing his hand on his chest as he blushed at the thought of her. He then started preparing fresh juice for both of them, intending to feed her healthy foods to aid her recovery.

Lost in his task, Jungkook was startled by the sound of a ringing phone. He left the kitchen to investigate and discovered it was Y/n's phone. Climbing the stairs, he knocked on her door, only to find it open. He slowly opened the door, checking if she was inside, but he heard the sound of running water from the shower.  Jungkook entered and called out her name, "Y/n." She replied from inside, "Yeah, anything wrong, Jungkook?"

"No, it's just that someone called on your phone," he said.

Y/n responded, "Oh... Can you pick up, please? I'm not done yet." Hearing this, he replied, "Okay, sure."

The call had ended by then, so he called again. It rang for a while before someone answered. Before Jungkook could response anything, the person on the other end spoke, "Hey! Y/n baby, how are you? I missed you so much, love."
