She shivered as his deep voice sent tingles down her spine, Y/n blushed and glanced down shyly upon hearing his compliment. He gently lifted her chin, prompting her to look in the mirror once more.
"Seems like someone's been blushing a lot lately," he teased, causing Y/n to blush even more and respond, "Jungkook, stop it. You're making me feel like a tomato." He chuckled softly.
"Alright, my love, everything looks great, but there's just one thing missing," he said, leaving her puzzled.
"What?" She asked softly, her curiosity piqued. She then noticed him retrieving something from her suit's pocket.
"This," Jungkook said as he presented the pendant to her, revealing the inscription "Mi casa" on it. She smiled widely upon seeing the pendant.
"This is so pretty," she exclaimed, reaching out to hold it in her hand and admire it. Jungkook looked at her beautiful smile, feeling grateful to be the reason behind it.
"By the way, what does this 'mi casa' mean, Jungkook?" she asked, still enamored by the beautiful pendant. Jungkook wrapped his arms around her waist, resting his chin on her shoulder as he whispered, "It means 'my home' in Spanish, wifey." Her eyes widened with emotion, overwhelmed by his gesture. She couldn't believe the moment unfolding before her.
"Really? You see me as your home, Jungkook?" she asked, surprised as she gazed at his reflection in the mirror. "Yes, you're my home, Y/n. A place I've longed for, where I find comfort and warmth, where my worries fade away," he explained, looking at her through the mirror, causing her to blush even more.
This was the moment they had longed for. Jungkook gently brushed her hair aside and helped her put on the pendant. When they both looked in the mirror, he commented, "It looks beautiful on you, Y/n. The pendant's value has increased because you're wearing it." His words made her blush once again.
"You never miss a chance to flirt, do you?" Y/n teased as he chuckled.
"Now, where are we going?" she asked, turning to face him.
"You'll find out soon enough, so let's just go," he replied, taking her hand and leading her out of the house.
She followed him, smiling brightly, knowing how stubborn he could be. He had already loaded the suitcases into the car, so after locking the main gate, they both sat in the car as he started driving. Although she was curious about their destination, Y/n was content knowing he was with her. After some time, they arrived at the airport, leaving Y/n even more puzzled. However, she decided to trust his plan, believing it would be worth it in the end. After checking in, they boarded the flight, which took around 5-6 hours to reach their destination.
As they neared their destination, he gently placed a blindfold over her eyes.
"Jungkook, what's this for?" she asked, puzzled, as he secured the blindfold.
"Just be patient a little longer, love. You'll find out soon enough. It's a surprise, so I can't spoil it," he whispered. She groaned in frustration, feeling impatient as she eagerly awaited the revelation.
Jungkook chuckled at her impatience. "Relax, love, we are just arriving there," he reassured her. After a while, they reached their destination, and he helped her safely exit the plane.
"Are we here?" she asked, still blindfolded.
"Yes, we're here. Just a bit further," he replied.
"You've been saying that for ages, Jungkook. How much longer?" she exclaimed, causing him to giggle.
"You're adorable," Jungkook said affectionately.
"I know, honey, but just tell me already," she replied, clearly annoyed. Jungkook stopped giggling and, grabbing her shoulders, he said, "Alright, love, it's time to reveal the surprise." She exclaimed in excitement, "Really? I'm so excited." Jungkook nodded and said, "Yes," as he gently turned her to face forward and reached for the knot of the blindfold, untying it.
"Don't open your eyes until I tell you," he instructed, and she nodded in agreement. He guided her forward and then said, "Now, open your eyes, Y/n."
As soon as she heard his command, she took a deep breath and slowly opened her eyes. They widened in disbelief as she placed a hand over her mouth, unable to believe who stood before her. He glanced at Jungkook with widened eyes, smiling at her shocked expression.
"Is this real? Or am I dreaming?" she exclaimed in disbelief.
"It's real, sweetheart," he assured her. Y/n looked again at the person standing before her, who was smiling from ear to ear. Finally, she screamed his name and rushed to hug him.
"Hyun-yu!"
Jungkook couldn't have been happier. Hyun-yu hugged her back, feeling the warmth of their friendship. It had been so long since they last met. Y/n couldn't believe how beautiful her life was becoming, and the only reason was Jungkook.
"I missed you, Hyun-yu," she said, embracing him tightly.
"I missed you too, Y/n," he replied, shaking his head in agreement as they remained in that position for a while, until they heard Jungkook clearing his throat and saying, "Someone's getting a bit jealous, you guys."
They chuckled together and broke the hug. Then Y/n finally realized something as she looked at Jungkook and asked, "Wait, does that mean we're in Bangkok?" Jungkook nodded, "Yep, our official honeymoon destination, Y/n," he said as Y/n screamed in happiness and quickly hugged him.
"Thank you so much, Jungkook. Thank you for everything," Y/n said gratefully, hugging him tightly. He hugged her back, smiling, and replied, "Your happiness is all that matters, Y/n."
Then Y/n asked again, breaking the hug, "By the way, when did you plan everything?" Hyun-yu joined them as they smiled at each other.
"Just last night, Y/n, when you went to bed early after taking your medicine. I called him, and we planned everything over the phone," Jungkook explained, as Hyun-yu nodded in agreement.
"Wow, you guys are brilliant," Y/n exclaimed. "We know, we know," they both said in unison, laughing together in joy. Everything was going smoothly.
After spending time together with Hyun-yu, Y/n and Jungkook had dinner and enjoyed exploring Bangkok with him before returning to their hotel room.
"This feels so good," Y/n remarked as she collapsed onto the soft mattress, exhausted. Meanwhile, Jungkook finished freshening up and changed into his nightwear.
"You should freshen up too, Y/n, because tomorrow is going to be the most beautiful day of your life," he said.
"Really?" she asked in excitement. Jungkook nodded.
"But that already happened when you entered my life, Jungkook," she said, twinkling her eyes playfully. Jungkook raised an eyebrow in response to her playful remark, then leaned in closer to her face.
"Is that really so, Mrs. Jeon?" he whispered, causing her heart to race as she felt the proximity between them. He inched even closer, and she closed her eyes, anticipating a kiss.
Jungkook simply smiled at her and lifted her from the bed, guiding her into the bathroom.
"Just hurry up and freshen up, Y/n," Jungkook said, giggling, as Y/n groaned in both frustration and embarrassment, "Yaa, Jeon Jungkook."
