The owners of the company were back in Bangkok and called their daughter to celebrate together. Faye offered YO to take the day off but the girl rejected it and agreed to have dinner with her mothers at night.

- Seriously, I don't mind you taking the day, in fact I have a meeting with the investors in a while.

- And you just tell me that now?

- Don't worry, my assistant prepared everything for me.

- You don't need me?

- Today I can do without you..

- Anyways, I have the weekend to celebrate and just because I'm the owner, doesn't mean I can leave my work at anytime just because.

- In fact, being the owner and heir all of that is a luxury you can afford!

- So you're not going to scold me if I'm absent or late or take a week off because I'm the boss?

- The boss is WanWan and no! If you're missing too much here, I'll have to tell your mother and find someone else!

- I like it..

- Do you really like what I just said?

Faye gave an almost forced smile and continued reviewing things on her computer, her face usually remained serious during work hours and when Yoko saw her, she couldn't help but smile.

- You're seeing me and you're not working, are you sure you don't want to go?

- Uh...

Yoko looked at her boss, who was staring at her briefcase while getting up as she spoke, without taking her eyes off her work.

- I see you Yoko... I already told you, if you want to go then go and if you don't want to go with your family and you don't want to be here alone, then come with me to the meeting. - Faye said, taking off her glasses and now looking towards her young co-worker.

- Fine, I'll go with you!

The women left together and headed to the meeting room that was a few floors below, they exchanged papers until getting in the elevator. In two seconds Yoko adapted to Faye's explanations of what they would talk about in the meeting and the woman was quite surprised.

- So these are the graphs of this month in the products coming from ou partners in television networks, I took the liberty of making comparisons with the products of these two platforms so that investors have no choice but to accept my idea.

- But YouTube does not count as the platform of a company that produces audiovisual content, at least “small” like ours. I mean, you do this because you want to open our own platform to have more remuneration in ads, right?

Their breathing was faster, as were their hearts, so they opened their mouths to breathe better.  The one who didn't take long with her mouth half open was Faye, who the second after doing it, she put her lips together again when she realized how much she was attracted to her boss's daughter.

The elevator just at that moment stopped and the lights went out and the emergency light came on almost immediately. The movement the elevator made when it stopped, caused Yoko to end up in Faye's arms, who unconsciously held her, surrounding her arms in the girl's body.
They tried to call but for some reason their cell phones didn't work, the signal had been lost and after more than ten minutes they decided to sit on the floor and wait.

- Are you addicted to work?

- A little bit and you?

- Me too.- said YO

- Well because you are and didn't listen to me and wouldn't want to go with your family, you're going to have to stay locked here with me!

- Faye, there are cameras here, they will take us out soon..

- What must have happened?

- If the power went out here, it's probably like this throughout the building!

- Yoko, you're not helping with my paranoia.

- I'm sorry.

- Don't worry, you didn't know, I'll be fine.

- I hope so, if you faint here, I won't know what to do!

Faye laughed and the girl followed her, they laughed together for a moment and when they stopped, they understood that it was a “stress” laugh rather than a real laugh.

The light returned not much more after that and both stood up and immediately the device worked again, it left them on the floor where they should be. When the doors opened, all the people there were as if a catastrophe had occurred, they were standing and talking to each other but everything seemed in her place, Faye approached the first person she found to ask him.

-Hey, what happened?

- I was here to talk to an audio engineer and suddenly the power went out, we thought it was a failure in the power lines.

- Well, you can continue doing your thing.

They went to the part where the meeting rooms were and there they met the assistant from the music department, who was also on that floor, she was the one who prepared the room for them.

- What happened, the investors didn't arrive?

- No ma'am, I prepared the room and later received a call, they were canceling the meeting because they were stuck in the tragedy, there was a general blackout throughout the city, we believe it was an earthquake but at a very deep depth because it did not affect anything really only the power lines.

- Well, okay, then continue with your thing and I'll tell my assistant to reschedule the meeting for another day.

Days after Faye would get new investors for the platform since the ones she had rescheduled the meeting with, after the earthquake incident left the project and since the woman had worked with them before, she knew perfectly well why.  The men in that company were Hindus and believed in bad omens and in fact on several occasions they had canceled projects before.

In the end, both Faye and Yoko called it a day and the boss forced her assistant to go home since she was also leaving; since there was no meeting, she could continue with her work from home.  The reality was that the woman, really wanted the girl to be with her family and she found a good excuse for her not to want to stay there, since she would be alone.

Yoko went to her apartment and as always her girlfriend wasn't there and she wasn't answering the phone either.
