The next morning Yoko couldn't hide her bad mood and her girlfriend noticed it, the woman was preparing breakfast for her. She put a plate with pancakes in front of Yoko who was looking at some papers and huffing.

-  Try them, I made them with a lot of love.

-  You usually do everything with a lot of love don't you..

-  Of course, I try to feel like it's God doing the tasks through me.

-  That explains last night.

-  What?

-  Faye you made me yours incredibly 6 times!

-  Is that not enough?

-  I find it incredible.- the girl smiled and bit into a pancake.

-  Pretty cool then..

-  Just like you!

For that moment the girl forgot everything about her ex who would be really hard not to see now. Marissa was starting to work with them that day and Faye didn't know yet, Yoko was tense about the situation, she didn't know what to expect. After moving out of the apartment the girls hadn't talked again.

*Flashback*

- So.. you're leaving for good.

- We already talked about it..

- Yoko I still love you and as I promised you, I am going to change for you.

- I told you it's not about that.. I don't love you anymore, look I promised to help you and I will but not like this.

- Are you going to share your therapist friend's number with me or what?

- It's the idea, yes..

- Well, I don't want it.

- You're not okay Mar, it's not healthy to get so attached to a person, things change and I'm sorry for being so hard on you, but I don't have time for this.

- Fine, get out then.

- Bye, take care Marissa.

- See you later and don't think I'll give up on you.

- Goodbye.

*End of flashback*

Faye opened the door and waited for Yoko to come out, she took her bag that was hanging and saw her girlfriend's bag next to it, she looked for that one too and left closing the door.

-  My love are you okay?

-  Uh?

-  You're a little distracted and I see you kinda worried.

-  Why do you say that?

The boss didn't say anything and just held up the bag in front of the girl to emphasize her point.

-  I'm fine, thanks.- Yoko said taking the bag.

-  Are you sure?

-  Yes love, let's go.

On their way to work they were listening to music and Faye as always was singing all the way there, which Yoko enjoyed a lot. Once in the office, the receptionist sent them to the meeting room and Yoko knew very well why.

-  So with the new investment plan we could stabilize the entire program for this year and ensure at least a second season of all the series or the ones you choose.  I also have to tell you that if you want you can create new ones in the monetary space that you don't want to renew.

-  It's great, I expected nothing less from you Marissa.- WanWan stood up to greet the CEO and her daughter who were standing at the door listening to everything, they didn't dare to interrupt Marissa in the middle of her presentation since there were also two young men
that none of the FayeYoko had seen before.

WanWan approached the women and introduced them to the men who immediately stood up to approach her and shake her hand.

-  This is Faye Malisorn our CEO and she is her assistant, my daughter Yoko.

-  A pleasure ladies, I'm Tomás and this is Jay my brother, we are your investors for next year.

-  We have high expectations of being part of your team, we are sure that together we will do an incredible job.- said Jay, the younger of the two men there.

After the investors left and before Faye said anything, Yoko exploded again at her mother.

-  Why do I found out this till now? what do I say to our investors now mom?! Should I remind you that we have a contract with them for two more years!

-  Don't worry, this investment is for a new batch of productions.

-  What? And who's going to take care of that?

-  I'm going to take care of the new team.

-  Mom, but this budget is for like ten series and we have that same amount in progress and we can't keep up, and as I just told you, what do I say to the other producers?

-  Yoko, this idea was mine.- said Marissa but the girl didn't let her finish speaking.

-  I knew it, this is so irresponsible, these guys think they can just invest in the productions that are in progress, you're crazy and you're taking my mother into your whims.

-  Yoko please, this is not like that..

-  How could it not be? I heard it myself, they want to renew this year's productions!

-  No, the year is already ending and they want to start the project now, so we will do all the productions at the same time.

-  It's crazy.

-  No, there are actually five series, the rest are movies and with this year we mean the next one, it ends in less than a month.

Faye arranged the girl's hair in her ear and left a little kiss on her hand, but not before sneaking a glance towards the glass windows that looked out onto the hallway of the meeting room.
