Chapt. 15 (Eng)

Faye woke up earlier than usual, she couldn't sleep, on one hand she felt guilty for having slept with her bosses' daughter and on the other the thought of working with the girl every day was making her consider quitting. It wouldn't be the first time she runs away from problems, P'Wan definitely wouldn't accept their relationship.

- But she's my friend, she could understand me...

"Faye you're crazy when she finds out she'll kill you! God what are you doing? I need to talk to WanWan" - The CEO was talking out loud, in her mind there was only one option.

Marissa woke up when she heard the sound of the hairdryer, she went to the bathroom and there was Yoko getting ready to go to the company.

- We need to talk, I'll wait for you downstairs.

- Okay fine.- Yoko said sighing, she had turned off the hairdryer when she saw the girl enter.

After putting on perfume, she took a deep breath and went to the kitchen, Mar was sitting there with her arms crossed.

- Look, last night was a mistake..

- Please don't do this to me Yoko.

- I'm an idiot and I deserve for you to hate me, I'm sorry.

- I can't let you go.

- That's the problem with you, you force me, you suffocate me, you don't let me be..

- I love you.

- No! You don't, if you loved me you wouldn't have me as your lifeline in every situation, it's time for you to take charge of your life.

- If you leave me, I don't want to live anymore.

- You need to go to therapy and I'm sorry for letting it get to this point, but I can't save you, only you can do it yourself.

- Why are you telling me all this? What changed? A while ago you were there for me, you loved me without asking for anything in return. But then that woman came along.

- Exactly, I loved you and I have every right to stop doing it and that's what you don't understand, love is NOT an obligation!

- You want to leave and leave me devastated.- Marissa was crying and some part of Yoko that had been with her for so long made her heart sting.

Yoko approached and hugged her, the blonde cried inconsolably and Yoko did not leave her side until she calmed down, her phone already had several missed calls, as it was silent Mar did not notice and Yoko simply ignored it.

- Look, I'm not going to abandon you because of the love I had for you, I won't.

- Do you hate me?

- No! I couldn't, I love you but not in the way I used to.- the girl hugged Yoko tighter as soon as she heard those words.

- I love you.- Said Mar without letting her go

- I'm sorry, I promise I'll help you, I won't abandon you but we can't be together anymore.

- It's because of that woman, right?

- No Mar, it's because of me... before meeting her the decision was already made.

- Of course and she helped you a lot!

- Please don't do this to me, for once in your life think about me and how I feel, this is not healthy for either of us. - Yoko stood up, looked for her phone that was no longer blinking, put it in her pocket and tried to leave.

- Are you leaving?

- I have to work.

- I hate you.

- I'm sorry Mar, I'm sorry for everything but nothing will make me change my mind and you know that.

- Then get out now.

The girl went out and sighed, she looked at her phone and the missed calls were from her boss, she was late for a meeting and she didn't know if she should leave the girl alone in that state or not. She stood there at the door not knowing what to do.

"Come on Yoko, you can do it, she'll be fine, it's not the first time she's emotionally blackmailed you".- she talked to herself to try and calm down.

After saying it out loud what she needed to hear at that moment, she left the apartment, although still with a certain degree of concern. The girl had blackmailed her many times and she had done it the night before too, but out of pity she didn't have the strength to refuse, she felt sorry for her but her pity wasn't helping her. Maintaining that relationship was no longer enough, Yoko was fed up and it was now or never, regardless of the consequences, she couldn't take care of a person anymore, all this time she was putting herself aside to take care of Marissa the best she could.

She arrived at work and went straight to Faye's office, who was waiting for her. The woman was working on her computer and suddenly looked up to see her when the girl showed up.

- Hi, I'm sorry I was late, I had a problem, it won't happen again.

- Next time, let me know so I can ask the assistant to prepare everything for me and not do it at the last minute.

- I'm sorry, I'll do it that way next time.

In her mind, Faye wanted to complain that she had called her many times. She looked up and saw Yoko with her gaze down and a very worried face. The boss stood up and approached her, took the iPad from her hands and made the young woman sit down.

- Are you okay?

- I don't think it's a good idea to talk to you about it.

- I told you, you can trust me, if I can help with something I will do it and if not, at least I can listen to you.

- Faye, we're on work schedule!

- In fact, these are my twenty-minute break.

- I'm sorry.- Yoko stood up and Faye stopped her.

- No, tell me.

- I don't know what to do.- her eyes filled with tears and she brought her hands to cover her face.

The boss's heart broke when she saw her young assistant like that, it was the first time she was ignoring her mind, there was no time to listen to it. She just wanted to hug the girl, she limited herself to putting her hand on her arm and seeing that Yoko didn't say anything else and after what seemed like an eternity of waiting for her to continue, she hugged her.

- Calm down, everything will be okay.

After telling her this, Yoko couldn't take it anymore and separated from the hug, she looked at her with her eyes full of tears and somewhat fear, thinking of what she was about to tell her. Faye might send her to hell or think anything about her.

- I slept with her last night..

- ..

Faye stood there motionless and her expressionlessness made Yoko cry even more.

- Do you hate me?

- Never!.- The woman arranged her hair and dried her tears.

- I couldn't just..

- You don't have to give me explanations, she's your girlfriend and what happened the other day.- Faye sighed, she didn't think they would talk about the subject so soon.- I'm your boss and you're my friend's daughter.

- I don't want her.. I want you.

- Yoko..

The girl hugged her and the boss just closed her eyes to enjoy the hug. The work at that moment was the rest, they were both there in their world.  Yoko's mothers entered Faye's office interrupting their hug, who noticed it was Faye who was facing the door, she let go of Yoko at that moment and the girl brought her hands to her face while still sitting on the couch.

- Yoko baby are you crying?
