Though it's not snowing it's very cold outside since it's winter. Cuddling on the sofa in front of the fireplace of your home, you and your girlfriend are enjoying the weekend. Narcissa plays with your hair gently as the two of you cuddle together.

"Tell me about your family, darling." she breaks the comfortable silence. She rests her chin on top of your head gently as she continues to play with your hair. The fire cackle gently in the background as it slowly burn, making the room glow with a warm, flickering light. "You rarely talk about your family, love. Tell me about them."

You lean against her touch, sighing contentedly before answering her.  "Well, you know I am also a pureblood. My parents have always been pretty strict, with the whole blood supremacy thing..."

Narcissa hums softly, continuing to play with your hair as she listens to you speak. Her face is expressionless, but her eyes are filled with a mixture of curiosity and concern. "And your siblings?"

At the mention of them your face softens. "I have an older brother and a younger sister. We're really close, even though they can be a pain in the arse sometimes..."

Narcissa chuckles softly, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. She pauses for a moment, thinking about your words before speaking again. "And how are they doing? Are they... still following the beliefs of blood supremacy?"

With a sigh you shake your head, your expression becoming serious. "No, thankfully. We all kind of grew out of it a while ago. My brother is more of a free spirit, he doesn't care about the whole blood purity nonsense. And my sister...well, she's always been the biggest rebel in the family, besides me of course."

Your girlfriend nods slowly, taking in your words. She falls silent for a few moments, her mind wandering as she thinks about her own family.

"I can relate to the rebelling part. My sister, Andromeda, was always the biggest rebel in our family." she pauses, a melancholic expression washing over her face as she speaks about her sister.

Noticing the sadness in her eyes, you reach up and gently brush a strand of hair out of her face, your touch soft and comforting. "What happened to her?"

Narcissa leans into your touch, a small sigh escaping her lips as she continues to speak. "She got disinherited from the family. She fell in love with, and married, a Muggleborn wizard. My parents were furious, they disowned her immediately..."

Her voice trails off as she speaks, the pain from the memories evident on her face. She takes a deep breath before continuing, "I'm not proud of it, but... I let them do it. I didn't stand up for her. I was just... so afraid of what they would do if I went against them. Even though I knew she was happy..." she looks down at you, her eyes a mixture of sadness and guilt.

You feel a pang of sadness in your chest as you listen to her words, knowing how difficult it must have been for her to make that decision. You reach up and cup her face gently, your touch a comforting reassurance. "Hey... it's okay. You did what you thought was right at the time. You were just trying to protect yourself."

A small, bitter chuckle escapes Narcissa's lips. She leans into your touch, her eyes still filled with guilt. "No, I was just being a coward. I should have stood up for her. I should have done something. But I was too scared... too worried about what my parents would do to me if I went against them..."
