Sisters' reunion - part 3

Summary: You two finally visit Andromeda.

Warnings: light angst, hurt/comfort, happy ending.

Narcissa is more nervous than you've ever seen her before. She's dressed in one of her finest outfits, her hair and makeup perfectly done. But beneath her polished exterior, you can see the fear and anxiety in her eyes. She keeps fidgeting with her hair, adjusting her clothes, and checking her reflection in the mirror.

"Do I look okay? Do you think I should've chosen a different outfit? What if she doesn't like my hair like this..." she starts to hyperventilate, her hands shaking almost uncontrollably.

You reach out and take her hands, holding them gently to still their trembling. "Hey, hey, hey, take a deep breath, okay? You look beautiful, you look fine. You look perfect." you look her in the eyes, your expression gentle yet firm. "Narcissa, you have to calm down. You're going to be okay. I'm here, okay? No matter what happens, I'm right here with you."

Narcissa takes a shaky breath, trying to calm herself down. She nods slowly, squeezing your hands tightly. "Okay... okay, I'm trying... it's just... I'm so scared. I don't want to mess this up, I don't want to lose her again..." she looks up at you, her eyes filled with a mix of fear and determination. "I'm ready. Let's go."

You give her hands a gentle squeeze before releasing them. You link arms with her, walking out of the room and towards the floo network. When you reach the fireplace, you grab a handful of floo powder and prepare to travel. You give your girlfriend one last reassuring smile before traveling to Andromeda's house.

In a few seconds you and Narcissa step out of the fireplace, emerging into Andromeda's living room. Almost immediately, you spot Andromeda standing by the window, her expression unreadable as she looks at you both. Narcissa tenses up, her hand gripping your arm tightly.

You give Andromeda a small smile as you approach her, trying to ease the tension in the room. "Hi, Andy, it's good to see you again." you speak with a friendly tone, your voice light and pleasant. You step forward to hug her.

Andromeda returns your smile with a nod, hugging you back before turning her attention to Narcissa. She looks at her younger sister, taking in her nervous expression and shaky demeanor. "Hello, Cissy."

There's a beat of silence as the sisters look at each other, a mixture of emotions flickering in their eyes. Narcissa swallows nervously, her heart pounding in her chest. She can't quite meet her sister's gaze, her eyes darting around the room as she searches for the right words to say.

"Hello, Andy..." she finally manages, her voice barely above a whisper.

Andromeda sighs, her expression softening a bit at her sister's nervousness. "Come, sit down," she says gently, gesturing towards the sofa. "Let's talk, shall we?"

You and Narcissa sit down on the sofa, watching as Andromeda takes a seat across from you. Narcissa swallows nervously, her hands clasped tightly in her lap. She glances sideways at you, her expression filled with fear and vulnerability.

"I... I don't even know where to start.." she says softly, her voice shaking a bit. "There's so much I want to say, so much I want to apologize for..."

Her sister leans back in her chair, her expression calm and patient. "Take your time, Cissy. I'm listening." she glances over at you, her eyes flickering in your direction for a moment before settling back on her sister.

Narcissa takes a deep breath, her eyes fluttering shut for a second as she collects her thoughts. "Andromeda, I... I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am... for everything..." her voice begins to tremble, and she takes another deep breath to steady it. "I was so caught up in the life mother wanted for me... the life they wanted for me... I didn't stop to think about what I wanted... what you were going through..."
