Synced Periods

Summary: Narcissa and you get your periods at the same time.

Warnings: periods, fluff, comfort.

You wake up knowing you're on your first day of your period. You slowly open your eyes, rubbing them as you adjust to the light. You turn your head slightly and see the other side of the bed empty: your girlfriend isn't there anymore. It's not that uncommon for this to happen. Actually your girlfriend is an early riser, so most days she's the one who wakes up first. However, you're on your period and you just want Narcissa, so her absence makes you tear up.

When you finally get up you immediately cover yourself with a fluffy robe before going to the bathroom to wash your face. When you open the bathroom cabinet and look for a tampon, you're only met with an empty package, making you huff in annoyance. You are sure yesterday you saw one last tampon!

Your girlfriend is in the living room, drinking her tea and watching TV. She looks up when she hears your bedroom door slam and she sighs, quickly understanding you must be annoyed with something.

The moment you step into the living room she sees your annoyed look and asks, "Is everything alright, darling?"

You cross your arms over your chest and look at her with a pouty look. "I can't find any tampons. The package is empty."

Your girlfriend sighs and pats the cushion next to her, signaling you to sit down. "Darling... I used the last one. I got my period today as well."

You sit down on the couch with her and lay your head on her shoulder, tears already running down your cheeks. She puts a comforting arm around you and kisses you on top of your head.

"Don't cry, love. Why don't you go take a hot bath? It helps with the cramps. I'll go to the store and buy you some tampons, alright?" she knows full well how bad are your cramps during your period.

You nod your head against her shoulder and pout, wrapping your arm around her waist. "Yes please. And chocolate... I need chocolate."

Narcissa chuckles and runs her hand up and down your back in a soothing manner. "Okay, darling. I'll bring you some chocolate as well. Now go, take a hot bath before it gets worse."

You lift your head from her shoulder and look at her with a guilty look, trying to hold back more tears. "I feel bad... you're on your period as well. You're going to go out of your way to go to the store just so you can buy me tampons and chocolate..."

She sighs with a smile and reaches to wipe away the tears on your cheeks. "It's my fault. I used the last one without having the courtesy to buy more ones. And I know you like to have chocolate when you're having your period, so it's no big deal for me to buy some."

You give her a small smile and nod your head. "Okay, then I'm gonna take a hot bath. And, uhm, Cissy?" you bite your lip, feeling a bit embarrassed.

"Yes, love?" she raises an eyebrow at you questioningly.

You lean closer to her, the tip of your nose nearly touching hers, and mutter. "I want cuddles too when you get back. I need cuddles..."

A small chuckle escapes Narcissa's lips at your request. She leans forward, her eyes fixed on yours, your faces barely apart. "Of course, darling. I will gladly provide you with the cuddles you oh so desperately need."

The corner of your lips slowly turn into a soft smile and you lean forward even more to press your lips against hers in a sweet kiss, that doesn't last long. Then you pull back, standing up from the couch.

"Hurry back, then."

Narcissa watches you and gives you a soft smile. "Of course, darling. Just relax and take a nice hot bath. I'll be back soon."
