NIGEL'S POV

"Nigel pwedeng patabi?"

My gaze diverted to the voice who called me and only to see sharly agustin, she's my classmate. She's referring to the vacant seat next to mine.

"Sure." I said with a smile, there's no reason to say no. I saw her cheecks turn red and again I wonder why. There is one thing about the students here in cliford I find weird aside from amarie.

I sigh after remembering what happend that time.

Anyways every girl here knows me I mean as in ALL. Every time I walked to the corridors, school grounds or any part of this school, from elementary to college girls students they always approached me and say hi. And as a gentlemen I smiled and also say hi to them and then again I will saw them giggling and blushing.

"Thanks! A-ahm N-nigel?" She's stuttering. I look at her face and she looks like nervous.

"Are you sick? You're stuttering." I can't help to say those words. She blush again.

"H-hindi! A-ano g-gusto ko lang sana n-na tanungin k-ka kung pwedeng sabay tayo m-mag lunch?" She diverted her gaze down to the floor.

Lunch? I smile when I remember amarie.

"Ok lang, sabay ka na lang sa'min!"

"Sa'min? May kasama ka?" She is now looking me with her confused expression.

"Yep, amarie and I, we always ate together and there's no wrong kung sasama ka, I think amarie will be happy if she will have a friend aside from me." I smile again and hoping that she will say yes and besides I want her to know that amarie is a kind person so that she and her friends will stop bullying amarie.

"There is no way that monster will be my friend." She stand up and walk out.

I heaved a sigh and feel sad.

"Amarie!" I called her even though she is already staring me with her infamous poker face.

"Hindi kailangan sumigaw." She walk directly to my place. We're outside in her classroom and as usual she's already alone.

"Sorry excited lang."

"You're always excited."

"Kain na lang tayo, let's go." I grab her wrist but I stop when I saw a pain expression in her face.

"What's wrong amarie?" I squeeze her wrist and her evedent pain expression grows.

I automatically pulled out as to why her long sleeves uniform curled up and to my surprise I saw her already violet and swollen wrist.

"Where did you get that?!" I panicked and concern with her health is all I could think.

"Wala, nabagsakan lang ako ng aparador nang naglilinis ako ng kwarto." She smile. A genuine one.

"Let's go, kain na tayo." She added.

We happily ate together that day and I am not expecting that it will be the last time I will saw her.

It feels like my heart stab by a thousands knives.

I searched for her and only to find out that she is nowhere to see.

She left me without a word and that I realized something,

Together with her disappearance is my heart beating for her,

I'm waiting for her return.
